Fine gyro for the price. Occasionally will see significant drift after setup - shut down and restart and works fine. Using on a hk450gt.

Incredible gyro, holds beautifully, but works best with a very quick tail servo. (I used a futaba BLS251 which takes the 760us pulse width happily. Easy enough to program, instructions for connecting the programmer could be better though.i also swapped out the foam pads for a slightly less wobbly version. Sekisui version listed here in bags of 10!

well i am not an expert heli pilot. i bought so many cheap gyro
before, they all end up in a box. For all you new commer, spend the money on the electronic not your heli. I make learning much more easier. for all the money i wasted on the cheap gyro, i could have bought 3 of these good gyro. if the tail don't hold, you can forget about 3d.

I manage to setup the gyro with the program box. All went well with the info in the file location, but while cycling through the menu I found that the fplus and plus1 buttons dont work. Its ok as I can go through the menu in reverse etc. Havent yet to test fly, but from the reviews it should be ok. This unit replaces my futaba 520 gyro which had not issues.

got a faulty gyro which crushed my heli, sent it back to hobbyking almost 2 years ago and now I got 10$ money to spend here at hobbyking.support team really are a bunch of useless liar people.never ever be buying anything here and I hope you too.

shame on you hobby king,here is my story with this gyro..

1.5 years have past since I sent this gyro back to hobbyking,

nothing has been done by now.oh sorry I was givven 9.99$ to spend back at hobbyking.

Hi guys my name is Dan, this gyro is solid and works well when I tell the tail to move slowly through the controller while flying. I like to run normal mode and have it in a HK600. The problem i have is that when i move the tail quickly the gyro 'triggers' the helicopter to spin the opposite way (after the abrupt stop) until i counter it then the chopper is steady again. I have tried turning the rud gain up and down on the programmable controller and on the transmitter, No difference. I have also played with pir gain and this doesn't make a difference i understand this is for heading hold mode anyway. Any ideas??

I atatch a doc. that clarify the metod to install the mini mems (thanks to someone on forums)

1. Ensure the heli/Rx is turned OFF.
2. Connect the Nano red plug to the Rx GAIN channel (e.g. Gear, Aux 2 etc.)
3. Connect the Nano black plug to the Rx RUDDER channel
4. Connect the Nano female plug to the Rudder servo
5. Turn on your Tx
6. Turn on your Heli (at least the Rx power). You MUST do this before connecting the Programmer.
7. Disconnect the Nano red plug from the Rx and connect it to the LCD Programmers female lead.
8. Connect the Programmers male lead into the Rx GAIN channel where you just removed the Nano red lead. The programmer should now go through its initialisation phase: HELLO -> READ .?. and then display the first menu item. It is now ready to program the gyro.
9. Configure the gyro
10. Disconnect the Programmer, reconnect the gyro red lead to the heli
11. Turn off the heli/Rx
It is very important that you follow the sequence. Power up your TX/Helicopter THEN attach the LCD. Once programming is done, unplug the LCD and then power the system OFF.
Configuring the Nano gyro via the LCD Programmer
Use the F /F- keys to navigate the menu.
Use the 10 /10- and 1 /1- keys to adjust the values.
Most users find the default values work well and typically only need to change the servo type, direction, left and right travel range and

have purchase this mems gyro with the turnigy DS530 servo. Have replace the stock Esky belt cpx gyro and the servo. setup was easy with the LCD programming box. now the tail is very rock soild no more slopness in tail. a good gyro with its size.

I've had the mini mems on my 500GT for over 6 hours flight time so far and it's kept the heli rock solid. Had my heli up in 35 km/h winds with gusts (yep I'm that confident in it) with no problem at all.
Why even think of a more expensive gyro when this one does exactly the same job for less than half the price.
