Features. Over current and over heat protection. Switching frequency 300khz. Chip Efficiency is 92%. This UBEC utilises switching technology to gain a much higher efficiency than liniar BEC. Which means less heat and longer battery life. The UBEC is equiped with a noise reduction alloy housing to reduce noise even further. Incorrect polarity safety feature ensures the UBEC will not be destroyed should the battery be connected incorrectly.

What's the difference between this and the HobbyKing Micro UBEC 3A besides the size and the jumper? I'm looking for a reliable and low noise UBEC but I don't know which one to choose.
It's good , i plug it in my HK500GT , and use it with 3K mah lipo. 6S max printed on the pcb. i run 1 hour test , setting my model, nothing burn for now.

Hi, I have been using this BEC for more than a in my Yak 25 CC Gas, made around 50 flights, of 10 min duration. I use Lipo 7.4, 2C, 3300 Mah battery. Recenty noticing that when i use 6 V jumper, i get only 5.2 volts. the issue is voltage output has become less after a prolonged time. This is going to be a serious issue when we use the BEC in JR/Sepctrum 2.4 Ghz reciever, binding can be lost with voltage lost during flight. BE CAREFULL-CAUTION
Kleines praktisches undleistungsstarkes BEC, welches ich schon erfolgreich im T-Rex 450 eingesetzt habe und jetzt dann im MikroKopter als einsetzen werde! Bei guter Khlung (z.B im Rotorabwind) sind locker die 5A zu erreichen!

I use this BEC on two of my nitro cars to drop 7,4V from the LiPo to 6V needer for my Nomadio reciever. I works great, no glitching no issues even on the 4 servo monster truck. The small size allows me to put him in the reciever box. This was the best deal price-performance wise I could find.
