i just received the motor, i had to do alot of cutting to the frame to fit the motor in. I guess i lost alot of stability to the frame, but i'll see after a testflight. But i think i will have to go for a Carbon/Delrin frame sooner or later...
Both of mine came with mounting screws, I would highly recommend purchasing extra screws anyway, it's nice to have a stock pile of parts while working on these little helicopters, also I highly recommend these motors, my 2 upgraded mcpx's are much more stable and maneuverable now.
A better upgraded tail motor and frame is a must also!
Can someone say me what i need for a mcpx brushless conversation the 2 motors and???? Would be nice to get a manual or pics how i have to install it thanks
Hey, good choice with the c05m. You will need the motor ,a pinion for it (i recomment 8 tooth) and an esc. Best way to go for an esc is an xp-7a that has been flashed with blheli code. You can find these all ready to go on eBay. Also some double sided tape to attach the esc. Also will need soldering equipment, as there is some precise soldering required. Instructions can be found on the internet, and several rc forums. Good luck!
HI All.. i would like one of these but not sure how to fit it to my mcpx? any body know of any sites with pic etc explaining how to do this, and allso what esc would you use ?..the 5A/1s or 2s esc?..any help from somebody that really knows what be great ..Thankyou.
hello, it very easy. take a hobby knife and just trim away some plastic around the bottom and make it so the motor sits flush. keep test fitting till you have the right space. it works great with a 7a esc and brushless converter. or get a 10a with the built-in converter wich i just ordered..
do not use this motor on stock frame.you have to cut too much of the frame. it is ok for 3rd party frame like MH frame. For stock frame look for AEO M5 motor, it has a special flange that works well with stock frame.
Me podrian explicar las siglas o datos que aparecen junto a los motores. tama?e los motores la potencia, ya que no entiendo. hasta a hora empiezo con este apacionante hobbie Gracias.
I bougth this motor to mount on a cb100 and it doesn't work. I've tried with stock esc and blue arrow 6A esc and motor have erratic movement with both esc's. Any idea.
You may need a different ESC. You don't say which Blue Arrow you used. Also, does it work fine to 1/2 throttle and then stutter? I've seen this complaint about another micro BL motor.
can I use this motor on a plane, because of the mount/housing....is it possible to open by removing the clip and install it****so i will have the drill holes for the mounting on the correct side for mounting in a plane.
I want to use it with 1S on a 3d plane....anyone ideas?
do you guys think this could be used on a walkera 4g6 heli is the size the same as hp08 motor.? these are the specs of stock motor. 1). Dimension: Φ*12 X 22mm 2). Speed constant(KV): 11000 RPM/V 3). No-Load Current: ≤*0.7A 4). Working voltage: 3.2-4.5V 5). Shaft extension: 4mm 6). Shaft diameter: Φ*1.5mm 7). Weight: 10.4g
I am using it on 4#3B and works great. I don't have a 4G6 but it is little week when I put it on 4#6. I am getting C05XL Micro Brushless outrunner 10800kv for my 4#6 which I think will be a good fit.
thanks eric well 4g6 and 4#6 its the same thing. one question is it better than stock.? or is the stock motor better than this motor.? do you happen to have a video of it flying the 4#6.
Vladimir, have read a some of your post at other sites and looked at your motor/gearbox/firewall setup. I need to replace my Parkzone P51D micro motor. What is the best motor/gearbox/Speed Controller/battery/prop setup for my PZ p51D micro with out buying from 4 or five different places? THX Shipping adds up.

ratherbegolfing,
All details are set out in the "RCGroups" in the subject line "Indoor and Micro Models" post "Gearbox with brushless micro-motor to achieve maximum thrust with powered only by 1S."

6 thumbs up!
Good for Walkera 4#3B with XP-7A ESC. (14~16T pinion) You can use ~700mAh battery.
This motor is an replacement motor for my old Turbo Ace on my Walkera 4#3b full BL. Compare to the old Turbo Ace, this Motor goes with an 20T pinion like hell. Especially I liked the reduction of total flight weight (-7gr). The Motor fits perfectly onto the Walkera frame and you get a flight Time of 6-8 Minutes with Zippy 400 (depending on your way to fly). A very good and cheap solution for all full BL 4#3b Walkeras.
un p altino il prezzo, per si s la miniaturizzazione costa

1 thumbs up!
I have a c05 motor in both of my mcpx's. It now flys like I had hoped it would when i bought it. Power is amazingly better than stock and constant level flips are no longer an issue. The stock tail also holds a lot better now with this motor for the main.
