Very happy with the charger. But can you please tell me a store where I can buy more of the JST-XH adaptor boards that you included in the package :)
And please tell me why you just included just 1 and only one of this adaptor in this package???
Hello to all-I need to charge 2 cell Thunder power batteries. I would like to match the balance board adapter that came with the charger, do they have the same adapter, or what balance adapter can I use?
Thanks**-
Nice charger, but one the charger port on my damaged in because the fan died, so the charger is too hot.but i'm not disappointed, because it was from 2010 I used.
My question is, I just bought the Turnigy 1200W 100~120V Power Supply (24VDC - 50amp)to power my Turnigy 4x6S Lithium Polymer Battery Pack Charger with the specs being: Specification: Operating voltage range: DC 11~15V Power source: 12V DC (car battery) / AC mains PSU (>200Watts) Cell count : 1-15 Ni-xx / 1-6 Li-xx / 1-10 Lead acid cells (2~20V) Current drain for balancing li-xx: 335mA Charge termination Ni-xx: Automatic, negative Delta Peak method Charge termination Lead acid & Li-xx: Automatic, voltage dependent, CC-CV process Maximum Charge Current per port: 6A High velocity heatsink exhaust fan.
Will this work or will I end up destroying my charger??
I just received my charger and power-supply. It only comes with 2 Balance adapters for 4 balance inputs. Do I need to order another set of 2 balance adapters just to use this as a 4 battery charger? Come on, I just spent almost $300 on these 2 components, they can't throw in the correct number of balance connectors? They must cost 90 cents each.
Hi, I've had one of these chargers for a while now and can't work out why it won't charge my 4s packs at 1C. I'm using a 13.8v 35amp benchtop power supply and I'm charging Turnigy 4s 5000Mah 20c hard packs, the charge rate is 3.3amps per port. I'd hate to see how slow it is with 6s packs. Is it also normal for the "storage charge" mode to only charge at 1amp?
Just got this charger a few months ago. It works perfectly and I have never had any problems, the fan is pretty loud, but as long as it keeps everything cool I'm fine with it. Definitely worth the buy. With 4 lipos you can virtualy fly all day non stop with this thing
Cargador de muy mala calidad, solo lo he usado en dos ocasiones y las puertos pares (2 y 4) han dejado de funcionar. Ya es la segunda vez que me pasa con el material comprado en esta web. Lo barato sale caro al final.
is it possible to up the voltage to say 24V? higher voltage means higher amps. cause when I try to charger 6000mah battery at 6A it only goes up to 3.2A. never ghoes over that. and thats on all 4 ports.
sorry to say it but no. Uping the voltage will not allow you to exceed the 100w limit per channel and may even blow the charger . Your best bet would be to buy the accucell 8 or better just for this purpose and use the 4x6 for your balancing needs and sofourth. Good luck!
Hi All. I just bought this charger but i am not very sure what cables i need to buy..
I only charger 1.3,1.6,2.2 MAH 20c 3S 11.1v turnigy bats. Could someone please explain or tell me what i need to buy to charge and balance x4 of these bats at the same time. Thanks
Hi Slept, For each of the 4 charging ports you will need a charging cable and a multi-socket balancing cable. If your batteries have the yellow XT60 plugs, you will need 4X cables with 4mm banana plugs and XT60 each end (see PRODUCT ID: 601CC-14-30c). To find additional multi-socket balancing cables, go to the "Battery Chargers and Acces." menu and select "Balance Leads" from the pull down menu. Cheers!
Hello!
I have a big problem with the door of No. 4 Turnigy 4x6S.
if I load any type of battery (LiPo,NiMH, NiCd, ecc), the current goes immediately to maximum (normaly beetwen 5.0 to 5.5 A), and does not stay at the set value .....
after a few seconds the message "connection broken" and crashes ..
The other ports (1-2-3) work well...
Can you help me?? please ..... the charger is new
Thanks in advance for replies
Alex (Italy)
Hi Ghirus7, Sounds like a bad solder joint (open circuit or a short between pins) at the No.4 balance plug port. A quick check might tell you something useful, as follows: 1) With charger turned off, use a volt/ohm meter to check the resistance between each pair of the balance socket pins. If the reading you get on 1 pair is way out of wack with the others, you've probably found the problem or 2) open the case of the charger and do a visual inspection of all solder joints on the No.4 main/balance plugs. I've had to re-solder bad connections on a different Turnigy charger. If nothing is found then you have to decide whether to live with the problem or chase HK for a replacement. Cheers!
can you use the balancer port to charge the battery instead of using both ports. i am using cellpro charger and it uses only balancing port to charge them. thank you.
I received this as a Christmas present. Shortly after the first use, port 2 stop functioning, screen just shows a row of blocks. Today, port 3 started giving bread down errors. Reads the voltages totally wrong and can't even use it to discharge the batteries. I don't see that there is a warranty listed nor was there any paperwork with it. The two ports that are working seem to be charging correctly and when I check the finished voltages with my meter, they are right up where they should be. Is there a warranty on this charger if so, how long is it for?
If something work wrong You schould be use warrianty... But schiping Can be expensiv, so meybey better way for You is send this charger for some electronics serwis in Your country ?
1 port on mine did not work from new. I figure 3 prots for $100 is still better than buying another expensive charger which will ultimately do the same thing anyway. The 3 working ports work fine, charging lipo nicd and nimh.
I had a problem with another charger and I called HK at 1-800-607-5803 and they had me ship it to New Jesrey and about a week later I had a credit in my account for the amount of the charger so I ordered another one and it has worked perfectly since I got it. Give em a call cant hurt and it is free to call.
I shipped it out to the Washington facility earlier this month. They will be replacing it probably when they get some in stock. First item I got from them that I had a problem with. They have been pretty good on the updates though.
Cool! I hope they take good care of you. You can keep tabs on your account balance when you sign in and they will most likely deposit your store credit into your account.
I got mine as a gift for Christmas as well, the display on mine goes blank on random ports then gets some weird block looking language. Re boot and it works, but not real happy.
Hi, this charger is a very good charger. I use it for 1 year and i charge 4 Lipo to 5 A in the same time and no problem since today !!! And i try to charge nimh and lipo in the same time, and the result was perfect.
I've had this charger for about 14 months and I've really liked it. But Channel 4 is now acting unusual.
It will sometimes charge packs just fine, but about 2/3 of the time Channel 4 will jump around the charging amps and eventually charge each cell to about 4.0 volts and cut off.
Thank you eduardo! I am fairly handy with a soldering iron, but how complicated is switching out the MOSFET? Does anyone have a video (not likely I know)?
I want to use this charge for my portable support box (all the things I need for my aerial photo platform stuffed into a Pelican case). My supply is 3 8amp/h 4s LiPo's. I noticed after ordering the max V in is 15v. Is a 4s supply going to damage the unit?
a person at our club has one of these chargers. It runs with all 6 ports going for hours none stop. The batteries it has charged this season alone has to be in the 3000 plus with not problems at all.
It gives a Connection Break error if you have anything less than the charging leads AND the balance charger plugged in when you go to balance charge. It does a non-balance charge without balance plug however. I do this and use a separate, better balancer. This got me about 0.1V variance of cells, and my other balancer gets 0.03V variance or better. (I use Common Sense RC Balance Pro)
Incorrect, julien. It provides up to 6A PER CHANNEL, and up to 25.2v (max voltage charge for 22.2V LiPo). 25.2V x 6A x 4 channels = 604.8W
It's a decent charger, but not a great balancer. I use a separate balancer that gets the cells to within about 0.03v. This one is closer to within 0.1v tolerance. It's not perfect (glitch on channel 1 with Pb batteries on mine), but it will charge at full capacity on all four channels as long as your power supply will output enough amperage. (600W/12v = 50A)
With 5000mAh 6S lipo batteries, I've only gotten to within 0.1V. It may get better with longer balancing than charging, but I've had better results with a separate balancer (Common Sense RC Balance Pro)

Like having 4 Accucel 6 chargers in one unit. Programming is the same as Accucel 6. Has only 1 conversion board for JST connectors, wish I had bought more when I ordered this. Also need to buy or make more charge leads for charging multiple lipos. Works great though, much faster and easier to use than my Thunder Power charger. Glad I have this and an Accucel 6. Will be ordering more conversion boards. Giving 5 stars anyway.

Buen cargador por este precio, pero le hace falta retocar varios aspectos como el ventilador(excesivamente ruidoso) y la botonera de baja calidad.
I got this beacuse it seemed very interesting. I have noticed most people saying the fan is luad , and yers it is compared to oterh chargers I have owned. I t is a little dissapointing about the charge rate per port. I thought thatould be the casse wehen i saw the specs. if the fan would not run while the charger was idle ,this would help. otherwise it seems to be a great charger. It also seemd strange to not have a manual but I found one
recieved mine this week. seems to be a good charger just like the AC6 i have. it has a super bright backlit display which is really nice Would prefer a metal housing but plastic seems thick and not brittle. the cooling fan is quite loud and is always on
like the other guy mentioned...no USB ports ? recieved no manual but works like the quattro charger.
