Can be put servos in the wings to have functional ailerons? Or it wont worth?
 Karl 193 points
you can if you want to. It all depends on how much you want to fly it that way. If you do dont forget to get a y-harness. Hope this helps and happy flying.

I broke a prop today and am using my spare but do not have another. How do we replace it with that threaded shaft?
duane  1 points - 4/15/2013

hello i am a newby to electric flight and wanted to know if any one could tell me if my futaba trans. and rec. would work with this plane and what else i would need to start out
 Karl 193 points
Your tx and rx should work fine and all you need other than those two is a 1000mah 3s battery. Hope this helps and happy flying.
 Karl 193 points
Your tx and rx will work just fine. The only other thing that you need is a 1000mah 3s lipo and if you don't have it a charger that is compatible with a 3s. Hope this helps and happy flying
EZflight  29 points - 1/26/2013

I have this airplane, Good for beginners, highly recommend it. slow fly & park flying, it will float with no engine power (dead stick).it's like having aileron's with it. if you used 1000mah lipo bat you need to trim or cut a little bit the battery compartment, and it will caused no problem.
Taylor  1 points - 1/21/2013

Just flew today. pretty nice plane overall. running 1300mah 3s. plenty of power. handling a little vague with no ailerons but overall nice plane.

What kind of battery i need to use in 3 Blue Airplane Model w/ Brusshless system Plug-n-Fly ? it required: 11.1V 1000mah 3S Lipoly but Battery compartment size is 50x50x41mm
 EZflight 29 points
If you used 1000mah, you must check the size and dimensions of your battery, mine was also 1000mah 3s. and it fly better, but I need to trim or cut the battery compartment to fit the 1000mah lipo bat. this unti feel like the airplane has a aileron

What is the matter of this aircraft please
 EZflight 29 points
For your own peace of mind. You can use C.A & will not harm/melt the materials or foam of this unit.

Can anyone tell me if there is a battery for this airplane? Here in Hobbyking i don't find it
 Jade 13 points
Hi there, I use the zippy compact 3s 25c. search ZC.1000.3S.25. I just cut out the front of the battery compartment so that it slides in snug. Flies great. My friend uses a turnigy nanotech 1000mah 2s, also flies great, but with less top speed/acceleration. Hope this helps, cheers
bruno  1 points - 11/14/2012

Hi guys, my accelerator are inverted. I use a Futaba 6j and the motor beeps a lot. I tried to find the ESC Guan'li programmer table, but I couln'd. Does anyone help me? Thanks! **** Oi gente, meu acelerador esta invertido, segui vá*rias dicas mas nada. O ESC nã*o aceita as dicas que vi até* agora. Algué*m tem uma idé*ia? Valeu!

Is this plane a three channel or a four channel
 Matthew 3 points
never mind :)
 FlyRcFly 1744 points
So you worked it out. The listing say only 2 servos so with one ESC that will make it a 3 channel. Sorry I just had to answer. Have a good day.
 bruno 1 points
Yes, it's 3 ch.

used the 1000mah. you need to adjust or cut/ trim the battery compartment so that the battery will fit inside the compartment.

My J3 came with a male T-connector. How do I connect that to a battery? What adaptor do I use for a standard 2s battery?
 Chris 36 points
you wil haft to buy somethinf like female deans ot t connector to connect ro the battery or just suwich them out with jst wich is what i did and used a 3 cell 800 mad battery.
Peterson  1 points - 1/19/2012

What motor exactly is this? 2410 brushless outrunner, is it a good motor? This Weight: 470g is without the battery? Thanks
 Chris 36 points
it is a good motor it has a lot of power on a 8X3.8 acp prop and spins very smooth
 Peterson 1 points
Hi Chris do you know exactly the brand and model of this motor? thanks
vivasolo  7 points - 12/29/2011

Hi there, has anybody put ailerons on this plane? Should work I guess.?
 Wazza_99 864 points
Yes it should. Only worry would be the weight. Don't know about HK's motor, but the one a pal has was from NP had good power but only gripe was it brought a lil tail heavy.
 Kellyann 16220 points
vivasolo I tried and it did not work. Some thing to do with to much V

Hey
Just wondering whether or not you could buy replacement wings etc. for this sort of plane.
Thanks.

Who can tell me the size of the box itself (box of the plane, not the shipping box) And does it need 3s or 2s batteries?
 villahermosa 125 points
the box size is 35.5 inces/90 cm x 10inces/25.5cm x 4.25inces/11cm and you can fly it with 2s or 3s. I have floun it with 3s 1300 mha, i cut an space in the battery compartment in such a way that the battery stay vertical. you can use up to 1500mha.
 french_guy 5 points
I have some Rhino 2S 1750mAh....Could I use them in that airplane?
 villahermosa 125 points
Yes you can, but you will need to make bigger the battery hole in such way that the battery stay vertical.

why same plane two differnt prices J3 Green Airplane Model w/ Brusshless system (PNF) Spec. Wingspan: 955mm Wing area: 13.7dm2 Length: 730mm Weight: 470g Motor: 2410 brushless outrunner ESC: 20A Servos: 2x9g Battery compartment size: 50x50x41mm Required: TX & RX 11.1V 1000mah 3S Lipoly $44.95

How do you set up the esc for endpoints? Mine will not go WOT.
 villahermosa 125 points
at the very moment that you connect the battery move your radio throttle stick to the upper end and then go back. most of the Esc know the total traveller of your radio in that way.
Mark007  31 points - 8/29/2011

could i run a 2200mah battery in this plane? I have other planes and buying this for a friend i have spare 2200mah so wondering if they would be ok or burn something out. Cheers
 snurdly 14 points
I'm now using a 2.2 3s pack and it is pushed all way to front and comes back to the rear of battery compartment. It's heavy , but works well.
 PonoC 10 points
if you are a beginer DONT do it because during landing the plane will come down hard and it will prolly break the landing gears or the propeller. Keep it as much light as possible and then experiment
snurdly  14 points - 8/20/2011

I see to put the prop on the hex with the size pointing forward , but does a flat washer go on next? How to tighten it without the inner hex nut loosening? The outer hex in the prop isn't used is it? I know is silly question , but is my first assembly. Thanks.
 villahermosa 125 points
use an electronic pliers to hold the rotor (motor), so you can tighten it. or there is an allen screw that tight the shaft to the rotor, use the allen key to hold the rotor in place.
Darryl  32 points - 8/14/2011

How many channels is this plane? Does it have ailerons? Servos for ailerons? I can see in the picture that it has marks for ailerons.
 Dj Be 13 points
Hi there it is a 3 channel, there are no ailerons or servo's for them but the marks are there as you say so it wouldnt be hard to fit some. I had this plane but binned it as it was underpowered on 2s 1000mah and came crashing down which snapped it in two due to the hard foam they have used.

 PonoC 10 points
Its a 3 channel but u can modify it to be 4 channel with 2 servos (and an extention) at the wings to make ur own ailerons.
 EZflight 29 points
no needs for 4channel, unless you want to roll this unit.It has a dihedral, I fly this unti also. and when it's up in the air you would not know the difference , unless you roll it.
RCMANIAA  53 points - 8/12/2011

is this plane doesn't have alieron? it just elevator and rudder?
 Mista walrus 27 points
yes, it does not have ailerons, just elevator and rudder
 RCMANIAA 53 points
what the different between Elevator rudder than Elevator ailerons?
 Mista walrus 27 points
i dont know exactly what they do in flight, but the elevator is mainly for going up and down, and ailerons help with turning, and the rudder helps with turning as well. (someone please correct me if im wrong)
Darryl  32 points - 8/11/2011

What type of battery plug does this plane have? I cant see clearly in the picture.

 villahermosa 125 points

The CG should be about 1/3 of the way back on the wing (from the front of the plane.)

yourn $pektrum will work on this. about batteries, all 1300mAh are now BK, but in short time will be available.
 tricky68 8 points
Thanks Fane .. Any suggestions regarding chargers? It's all very confusing to me at this point. chargers.. balancers .. power supplies ..
 Fane2010 30 points
chargers for batteries ? HobbyKing E4 Balance Charger - I use this. It requires 12V input power supply :) This product includes charger & balancer, so is perfect for you and pretty cheap!
 PonoC 10 points
personally i love my Aurora 9 regarding Tx's. For recharger i like a lot the ACUCELL 6 by Turnigy because it comes with croco tips and i can use it on car's battery. With a couple of 1300mah i can fly restless.
MARCOAQTEIXEIRA  10 points - 5/14/2011

I cant find a battery that fits in the plane Which battery to use? Can I use more (or less) than 1000ma? Can I use 25c or 30c?
 Fane2010 30 points
any 11.1V 3S or 7.4V 2S will fit into this compartment because even on the HK site is written that the compartment size is 50x50x41mm, I have spoken with lot of people and the battery will fix. I've had the same issue, but I've got it! enjoy.
 MARCOAQTEIXEIRA 10 points
I did not find any battery that fits in this plan, here and many other sites. All are bigger than the magazine. help me please

 Darryl 32 points
You should be able to use a slightly larger battery (power wise) and 25c or 30c is only the discharge rate, how much power can be given out at any one time. Depends on the speed controller and motor to how many mah (milliamp hours) you can put into the plane. If you used a smaller battery, you may have issues taking off, but other people have said it can go real slow.
 PonoC 10 points
ofc you can use a razor to dig your way in the fuselage and make enough space for your batteries. Just care the CoG and the servo movement.

Nice finish for its price and the plane took off in about 10 meters with a 2S 20C lipo at 75 throttle. Wow... Slow, nice, steady. Will standby a kit for it if I crash it. Hehee! Landing gear is sturdy for its weight though it looks weak. Cons: If only the brushless motor doesn't come with the screw-type shaft, I could have several other props and collets to play with.

Nice plane. Came in thermocol mold. The texture of the plane is like balsa. I could not make out the material without touching it. Amazing price. The propellers provided are not of good quality so I recommend that you upgrade the propeller. The ESC gets hot so if you can upgrade the ESC to a higher rating, please do so. The plane flew well and was stable.
