is this battery good for the surge crusher boat they say 4000 to 5000 ma for top rate i dont want to blow anything up

That battery would be fine! The only thing you need to keep an eye on when looking for batteries for boats is not to 3's istead of 2's and the weight of the batteries. Dont want the boat to submarine..But speaking of weight i would consider the Zippy fligtmax 5000mah ones for minor difference in weight. Remember mAh is your fuel tank size!
