Yes I had Deans Ultra plugs soldered on the packs no issues.

I was wondering if any of you changed the wiring to deans ultra plugs on this battery pack?

Not to deans but I have several to traxxas high current connecter. You have to trim aprox half the wire diameter before soldering because of the heavy gauge that comes on the lipo but it won't affect the performance. You love the packs.

I believe that they are a little on the big size, the leads tend to stick out from the edge of the battery I have had to modify my Team Associated T4 to have them fit inside, though they do fit inside the Traxxas slash without a problem, I have also fit them inside a Traxxas Stampede barely.

I'm not sure about the summit, but in a slash you have to modify 2 things. You must cut a notch in the wall where the battery sits to make room for the side mounted wires. I cut mine on the back outside corner. Also, you need to get the traxxas Traxxas Slash Battery Tray Expansion Kit #5827X. After these mods, it works awesome. My car heated up before i used all the juice in my battery. Awesome.

They will if you use the battery expansion kit part for any of the traxxas cars and put the foam pad under one end as to hold up the leads because they won't fit in the tray. I have three of these batteries and two of the 6.0 3S nano-techs. I run them in my stampede 4x4 and my sons slash. They are awesome bats and have great run times. If you get these or any others make sure you cut the bullet connectors off along with half the diameter of the wire before soldering on the traxxas high current c

These batteries are exceptional, first off Hobby King Ships verry quickly so thank all of you for this, I was verry please when I opened two of these well wraped batteries. I went to charge them and they both charged with no problems. I got two of these batteries with the intent to run them in my Team Associated T4, though they were a little big. I ended up modifying my battery space and made them fit. They put out a large amount of power, more than they say on the box I'm sure. The only problems that I have had is I think that Turnigy should consider putting the leads of the battery and the balance ports in the middle versus off to the side, because they do tend to stick out to the side. It may be possible to modify the leads into the middle though it would require work. Over all I give these batteries 4/5 stars. They are very powerful, though the shape is not quite accurate and the leads are thick wires and lay off to the side. I definately recomend them to any one who has a large battery case and wants to go fast. :)

They were delivered as promised from the USA warehouse thanks! They work pretty well using two of them in a my bixler for maximum air time. Yes you read that right two of them daisy chained. Using this for a UAV platform that I need up in the air for 3 hours. Only getting about 2.5

Wheelie wheelie wheelie! My son upgraded his traxxas svt raptor slash to the brushless vxl 3s and wow! It smokes down the road and around the track. Only thing is with the leads coming out the side they don't fit the battery tray but if you put the battery expansion kit on and put the foam pad that comes with the kit under the end were the leads come off it holds it up high enough with out having to cut the tray and works great! Thanks hobby king! Going to have to keep a stock of times with these batteries ;).

These came perfectly balanced, and are not much heavier than a 4000 hardcase zippys i have. 8AWG wires. great price
