HE-162 Fighter R/C Ducted Fan Jet Plug-n-Fly (AUS Warehouse)
A nicely scaled and unusual old-war fighter jet with brushlessEDF system. The HE-162 EDF jet comes 97% pre-built and includes a powerful 30A brushless electric ducted fan system and steerable nose wheel. This well detailed jet uses a 64mm ducted fan unit to provide fast throttle response.
Howdy Pilots, this model is well constructed, paint job was fair and had a few patchy spots here and there. Construction was a breeze with all parts fitting together nicely. Did my usual fitting out in the cockpit using some bits and pieces I had from a damaged F-18 cockpit and rebuilt the dashboard and leading front panel. I finished it off with a dashboard sticker from the Ryan replacement set and I used one of the 1100mm P-51 pilots which I repainted to Luftwaffe specs. Waiting for a nice day to maiden this one and will let you know how she flies. Good all round but I would like to have it in a different colour scheme, one similar to the Freewing Me262 would be awesome and I'm sure HK would sell more, this colour scheme lacks eye appeal but I do have a soft spot for all the Nazi planes so I will wear it or perhaps attack it with the air brush to satisfy my desires.
