Easy Fly Glider EPO (PNP) (AUS Warehouse)

Our Easy-Fly is a large (1.9mtr) RTF glider made from super strong EPO foam.
This model comes pre-built with motor, esc and servo's already installed. All you need to do is include your own receiver & battery to be ready to fly in 10 minutes.

The included and installed brushless motor and ESC provides plenty of power for steep climbs. The proven tail design and wing shape make this an easy glider to handle. The Easy-Fly also has a folding propeller to reduce drag as well as motor ventilation and an easy to access canopy hatch for quick battery changes.

The plastic tube was for a 27Mhz antenna. The ST-330 Easy Fly used to ship from some resellers with as RTF with a 27Mhz Transmitter/Receiver.

In the Easy Fly ST330 there is a plastic tube 3/16". It runs from the cabin through to the rear end , opening under the rudder. Can anyone shed any light on this tube Please?

is this good for a beginner?

I have flown it and I'd say it could make a reasonable first model but I'd strongly recommend that it is trimmed by someone a bit more experienced. Make sure that the COG is OK and limit the throw of control surfaces to minimum for the initial flights. I know from my own experience that the first flights can be a bit nerve wracking and the beginners have a tendency to overuse the controls. The model has a semi-symmetrical airfoil which makes it suitable for a basic aerobatics but it is not the s

IMHO This is a bad and possably dangerous choice for a beginer. The motor/prop is extremely vulnerable and the high glide ratio will make it hard to land safely. The best thing for a beginer is a simulater followed by a clouds fly/ AXI floater or the Epp dragon.Once you can fly it's easy to forget how hard it is was to learn, and we become ***r judges of what makes a good trainer. When you are good enough to fly warbirds, the trainers seem dangerously docile and their stability can be fustrating. People learning to fly inapriate planes can lead to our losing freinds and getting kicked off the park. Just my opinion.

I am i beginner and the guy in the HK shop in sydney recommended this plane to me and i can tell you this is not a beginners plane. I crashed the plane and then went to the guys at the local flying club who had a hard time flying it. They are helping me with the plane but it has been a huge disappointment for my 1st experience.

They recommended it to me too. I suppose I will find out when I fly it.

Perfect for a beginner.

Not a beginners plane, I have years of flying experience and found this to be difficult to fly and it did not want to "glide", required power for anything but nosedown dives. Bought it because of guys using it for FPV. Only flew it a few times and parted it out. Lots of other good planes in the AUS wharehouse for a begginer.

This glider is good value for the bucks if you are prepared to do some upgrades to rectify a few of the design faults. The standard internal mechanism for the ailerons is poor giving limited movement & lots of freeplay. Fixed that by replacing with external HXT 900 servos cut into the wings with conventional pushrods & clevises. Gave much better response & roll capability. The internal rudder mechanism also didn't work well giving good travel one way but limited travel the other way & also binding up in the pshrod tube. I replaced this arrangement with an external pushrod with clevis & an HXT 900 servo placed in the fuselage recess under the wing. These improvements made a huge difference.
After a heavy nose down crash (radio interference) I wrote off the nose cone & motor. I rebuilt it with a new Towerpro 2217 23a 1050KV motor swinging a 10 x 6 folding prop. This gives much better climb rate than the standard motor. Pulls 200 watts at 17a. This is now one of my favourite planes & it flies as well as my much more expensive Radian Pro.

Hi I recived mine about two week ago and carried out ALL the mod external servo on wing and rudder when i maiden it i had an 1800 s3 fitted and found it to be nose heave and glide was not great had to hold up elevator in most of flight decided to put my 1300 s3 in just to see if there was any differance Well it changed the whole plane and it flew fantastic transition from climb out power off and level flight no nose drop at all i dont get as many POWER burst with small lipo but hay i am getting 30 min flights with only three power runs and by that time my neck and back are getting sore so it good for me
I brought this as a replacement of the Pheonix 2000 that i had two of one i still have as a sloppy the other i lost in flight 9old eyes) LOL and this is a great replacement for it i would recomend for those that have a bit of modeling experiance the three stars for quality is to do with the control horn pushrod set up change them and its a real floater
