More than just a fancy name. The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives.
1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity. 2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.
Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries: -Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg. -Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load. -Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly. -Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC -Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load. -Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate. -Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries. -Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.
The Nano-Tech Turnigy's are Great! Sure do wish you'd make them available in the USA Warehouses with 5.5 MM Bullet connectors like the regular Turnigy's.

I totally agree with Tommy if these batteries warehouse were warehoused in the USA the sales figures would go through the roof. The overseas shipping is a bit cost prohibitive. I love all of the Turnigy's that I have purchased in the past year. Thank you, Ted
Awesome packs. Just got 2 for my 4x4 slash and after about 10 cycles they are still great (balance/discharge). So far I have seen them take about 4500-5100 mah depending on how far I run them down. Only word of caution is they are a bit off on the standard stick pack size, a little longer and a little thinner than standard.

hint on shipping.. do two orders and have afew small items in each with one battery. Shipping would be around $15 per order vs $40 if you had 2 batteries in an order. Savings of $10 on shipping in the long run.

Recently ordered 2 of these batteries to run in a variety of vehicles -
4wd slash
4wd tc4
2wd legend
2wd ae b4
if you look at the dimensions they are a little off from a standard pack but will fit. Out of the box both batteries were balanced and after about 10 cycles are still going strong. The punch and endurance is awesome! I can now clear my local tracks big double easily rather than having to go the cautious route.
Couple of side notes:
1. Pay for the "express" shipping, its only a few more bucks and should help with the lengthy wait time (mine came from the Hong Kong warehouse apparently) and it took about 3 weeks to get here.
2. These are DENSE packs. Holding these next to some venom packs I have are night and day difference!

Paid and waiting for almost a month - still waiting. Parcel got to Singapore about a week ago, then decided from there the best way to go to Australia was via Zurich. WTF!?!? Trying to contact HK with no luck.
