I have purchased one of these ESC's. The description says Use HKSS programming card. When i look this up, the only HKSS programming card says it is for 150A esc only. Is there another card or is this what i'm after? Could i just use my ezrun programming card?

I have 4 of these ESC, the 150A hkss card is the one you need for this esc, confusing i know.

Does the esc have a drag brake?

Yes, it has a drag brake and reverse. Default setting is Forward, Pause, Reverse. Have not yet figured out how to set the drag brake. Comes with a manual but not clear on how to program. Many different setting and with braking, reverse settings a percentage can be selected. Bullet connectors are not included. 5 days delivery time in NSW.

Can i use this speedo in a stock 13.5 class that does not allow any timing?

Likely not, unless you have friendly people running the class and if you had the programming card and could show you have no esc timing.

For the price these are a Killer ESC, easy to use, program and very reliable. Running one in an Axial Wraith with a 3300kv sensored on 2 and 3s Lipo and it's been solid as a rock!

Brought one of these for my first drift car. The car kept stopping after approx 40mins of use and then every 5 mins after that. Took me months to identify that it was this component. (Thought it was reciever at first) Possibly heat related but didnt feel hot running a 13T motor. I know of others that have same issue but they resoldered the wires & that fixed the issue. That didnt work for me. Also because of big blobs of solder on moter wires, the sensor wire would'nt fit proberly. Havnt tried warrenty cause I don't like my chances after 4 months. Hard to prove. Anyway, thats what happened to me. I use there Turnergy batteries which are great so far and the HKSS Program Card.

Easy to program,silky smooth acceleration and brakeing.Running one in Associated 1/10 buggy with 4800KV and bought another to run in my HK Trooper with 7900KV. Awsome performance.
