Turnigy TrackStar One Cell 120A 1/12th And 1/10th Scale Sensored Brushless Car ESC
The Turnigy TrackStar One Cell 1/12th and 1/10th scale ESC is the latest addition to Hobby Kings Sensored Car ESC range.
The TrackStar One Cell features a built in voltage booster for single cell Lipoly use in 1/12th and 1/10th scale racing. An additional heat sink and cooling fan have been included for 2S 1/10th race applications making the TrackStar One Cell a truly versatile ESC.
Using a Fast Silicon Labs MCU and high quality On-Semiconductor MOSFETs the TrackStar One Cell 120A ESC sets a new standard in high quality yet affordable car ESCs. With Intelligent MCU logic the TrackStar series ESCs allow extremely precise start up control and positioning feed back from the motor. This translates in to very smooth start up and acceleration.
Timing Indicator LED. To conform with ROARs Sportsman Class racing rules and assist race organizers monitor driver compliance in non-timing modified race classes the TrackStar 1/10th ESC includes a timing mode indicator LED. At all times when the ESC is powered on and dynamic motor timing is set to a value greater than zero the white LED will illuminate indicating that the timing mode has been modified.
The Turnigy TrackStar One Cell 120A ESC also boasts a host of programing options not usually found in an ESC at this price and can be programmed with ease via the Turnigy TrackStar programing card (sold separately).

Hi! Connected it with 1S Lipo an the BEC is not working. Connecting on 2S Lipo BEC also doesn´**t work. Then i connected an RX Batterie to the Receiver an then it worked and calibrated. Any idea why BEC is not working?
This ESC is actually identical to the TORO 1S ESC. You can just type that into google and it should come up. The programming instructions are available there. There appears to be a SKYRC usb programming adapter but no mention of software that I can find. Hope that helps.
Hi
-First i calibrate gas and brake.
-Second i started manual programming beeping answering yes or no to each step.
-Finally turn off the Esc and after that the steering servo works find but nothing else, it stays whit yellow and red light on´*s but doesnt, reponse to the tx throttle.
What should i do?
Thx
OK. First make sure all your radio options are set essentially back to default. It could be, for instancee, that your throttle setting is set to reverse.
I installed it and it works but i cant program it with the programcard.Tried the programcard with my 1/8 esc and it works fine. When i connect it to esc it only lights up the auto lipo light and nothing happens when i press the button. In the manual they use a 1s lipo and i use a 2s lipo.Could this be the problem?
Hi I imagine you are asking for a 9.000KV motor (one more 0 would be insane). For Off-road max 6.5T so not would be suitable. For on-road, it would be quite limit, as some brands have 9.000kv on a 4T or maybe lower. Hope helps

if you look at the TrackStar programming card, they are the inflexible ones where the hardware (number of rows and LEDs) limits it, and i can only a minimum of settings?! the turnigy cards are much better as they are flexible and can setup any amount of settings and so are compatible with any future firmware upgrades. I don't think the TrackStar cards here at HK are the ones that should be used with this ESC. maybe the Turnigy ones work?
I have the esc and the progaming card is very nice, its easy to change settings,Punch, timing, brake strengh, drag break etc..
8 at all, the same as manualy.
Posessed, the dynamic timing is an advanced feature of the ESC, bence it is not mandatory to be present in the programme card, as a programming function, but rather on PC. So, my question is still on.
i run a hobbywing 1s ESC in my 1/12. basically the same specs, also with booster. it has two annoying "features":
1) there is a delay of about half a second when you accelerate from 0, i tried several settings and it is always slower than the other racers which use 4 cell nimhs on normal ESCs without boosters.
2) there seem to be a boost that kicks in when you hold full throttle for more than 0.5-1 second. i tried switching this off, or change the delay but no effect.
this is with a non sensored motor. could you tell me how this ESC behaves compared to my statements above?
Amazing esc. Well worth the money. Program card lacks some functions that competitors however half the price of comppetitors models. Top stuff hk need some of those 1s lipos back in stock now please!!

When the sale went this regulation, I bought it along with the programmer. But I was very disappointed that the functions of drag/brake and brake work very badly. I do not recommend this controller for the competition

i must say it is not a bad esc... small enough for the 1/12th (indoor) chasis and good enough to work in a 1/10th buggy.
i am realy happy with it
what i do recomend is getting a booster pack or power cap to go on the rx side of things to help power the heavy servos that draw a lot of power eg: savox 1251
cheers
