Hi i have a hpi mini trophy with this esc and motor 3.5t and i running with 3s 5000 zippy and i get burn in 3 time the esc sombebody can tell me why that happend
Hi, have HSP 1/10 rally Truck (94170) KV 2720 brushless motor, and have blown 80amp Novatech ESC.
1. Will this be suitable ?
2.Would it need to be programmed ?
3. If not do you recommend something else ?
Thank you
Darren.
Hi,Darren I am using this in a converted Traxxas Nitro 4tec with a Turnigy TrackStar 3.5T Sensored Brushless Motor 9410KV .I had used others but they could not cut it. Even the first one of this ESC failed but it was a faulty one and was replaced straight away. The replacement has worked very well an is used constantly ,I did not need to program it.I would think you will have no trouble with it. Good luck
I bought this an got less than 2 min with it .Can some one tell me what the thing in the small round extension is, that was the thing that was smoking after 2 min use. Is it possible to replace it or bypass it? I put a pic in files if some one can help me.
it will work says up there in info down to 3.5turn motors just watch your temps and make sure your gearing is right get the program card as well if you buy really easy to set up and works well i use 1 with a sensored losi motor runs cool great esc
I just ran mine on 4s but with only 13 turn motor on mini revo. esc registers 4 beeps.i think its just the fan needs to be run from rx or bec but I just unplugged fan and esc did not get hot only motor. setup was only pulling 25 amps max.
3.5t onroad or 5.5t offroad is the maximum turn motor that this ESC will run without blowing up . you can run anything above that fine so a 21.5 will work no worries and Different model ESC have different limits on battery input voltage and how many turn motors it will run
This is not going to be a good review.
After less than 2 min I got smoke.
Its the 8th of January I have put in a warranty claim to see how long it will take. It did come nicely boxed an was delivered to Brisbane very quick. Can some one tell me what the thing in the small round extension is, that was the thing that was smoking, any way I hope some one else reviews this an has better luck than I did.
