I bought 2 packs. I thought all 3s lipos were 11.1 volts Got the packs today and they have 9.9v I did not see that on the specs as I assumed all 3s were 11.1v

lifepo4 battery chemistry is different then lithium polymer. life cells are 3.3v per cell so a 3cell is 9.9v.

They are not Li-Po, they are Li-Fe which is NOT 3.7v per cell but rather 3.3 hence the 9.9v.

What is the advantage of a LiFe over a LiPo? This seems to weight more, and is bigger than comparable LiPo batteries.

from wikipedia The LiFePO4 battery uses a lithium-ion-derived chemistry and shares many of its advantages and disadvantages with other Lithium-ion battery chemistries. However, one key advantage over other lithium-ion batteries is the superior thermal and chemical stability, which provides better safety characteristics than lithium-ion batteries with other cathode materials.[6] Due to significantly stronger bonds between the oxygen atoms in the phosphate (compared to the cobalt), oxygen is not readily released, and as a result, lithium iron phosphate cells are virtually incombustible in the event of mishandling during charge or discharge, and can handle high temperatures without decomposing.[6] Lithium iron phosphate chemistry also offers a longer cycle life over standard lithium-ion cells.[6] The use of phosphates also reduces the cost and environmental concerns of Cobalt cells, particularly in regards of cobalt entering the environment through improper disposal,[6] with considerably increased safety over the cobalt chemistry type of lithium battery cell, particularly when compared to LiPo battery cells commonly used in the aeromodeling hobby. One of the other major advantages for LiFePO4 when compared with LiCoO2 is higher current or peak-power rating.[7]

So they just catch on fire less..lol

None RC related review. But a lot of airsoft players that I know seek out batteries and chargers at HobbyKing. I bought this battery for my KWA SR7 airsoft rifle. It packs the same power compared to my 7.4v LiPo and 9.6v NiMh batteries. No drop in FPS or rate of fire. One thing fore sure, the size of this batter will not fit in any hand guard or butt stock compartment. Hence, I have mounted an external pouch to the stock and extended the wire to connect the battery externally. It gave me approximately 3hr. game play before the battery died out. Great value and price in my opinion and a lot safer to use vs. LiPo batteries.

They seem to work fine. I bought three 3s 2100 packs. They get a little warm depending on which plane I fly. My motors pull around 27-32 amp static. Good safe battery to use. 5-6 minute flights with reserve left.
