any recommendations for a life battery for the Orange t6 radio
I bought ten of these to use as receiver packs for my big birds. I like that I don't need a regulator and I can charge them very fast between flights in a few minutes, compared to Lion, Lipo, Nicad and Nimhs. I bought several packs of the XH extension wires, so it is easy to recharge without removing the battery from the plane. They keep a very steady six volts even when loading up nine heavy duty servos at full 3D deflection. I use double switches from a single battery to a single receiver, since we know the plugs going into the receiver can't handle any more than five amps without heating up. I had one pack that was swollen at delivery, but the rest all cycled and charged to one hundred percent capacity. For the price, can't find a better value. Thanks HK

Purchased a set of these to power a trex 700 as a reciever pack. Balanced charged at 2.1 amps.
After the flight when landing, the microbeast fbl controller lost power resulting in a tip over and crash. On the bench, the servos would move around randomly when I plugged in the zippy life pack. Switched to a hobbico lifepack and everything works normally. My guess is the battery isn't able to maintain its voltage under load.
