I think it is complete overkill to supply these batteries with 8awg (8ga) wire! It is uneccessary on a 25C battery of this size and it makes it very difficult to change to XT60, Deans, EC or Power Pole connectors. 3 Crowns for wire size.

You get what you pay for for sure. Here's the deal with these packs. They are super light and you do get the rated power out of them. Don't expect them to be big time performers though. They are NOT high discharge for example, I use 2 in parallel and I pull about 90A at around 15.7V-ish. They heat up a little on discharge but not bad. If you want a light battery pack with decent performance for cheap then this is your guy. If you want something you can do sport flying on this is not your battery, get a Gen Ace 40C...sick.
