The HobbyKing Yak54 30cc Large Scale 3D aircraft is constructed from plywood and Balsa with a fiber glass cowl and tough plastic wheel spats. Finished with attention to detail the model is covered in quality covering film that has been nicely applied.
The airframe has been constructed very much with 3D in mind and is both light, yet strong, the attractive colour scheme is simple and ideal for orientation, the hardware includes heavy duty control horns to cope with the stresses of a high performance aerobatic model and of course the rudder is a pull/pull arrangement.
This model is a stand out performer, we were impressed with the finish and the quality of the hardware pack for a model of this price. Yak's make for superb scale aerobatic/sport models but make no mistake, this is a 3D model that is capable of torque rolls, yo-yos, harriers and waterfalls without missing a beat!
