hello to all did someone buy this car 1_16_Brushless_4WD_Racing_Buggy_w_25A_? is it the same like the mini inferno? nice regards jü*rgen
 David 22 points
Similiar but at this price you could buy 2 or 3 and still be better off, I have had mine for months and worst thing that has happened is spur gear and they are 50 cents or less really depends how you are going to treat it :-)

Could you use a 2s 1700mAh lipo
 David 22 points
Yes as long as the dimensions are right check before you order I know the Turnigy 1300mAh is a perfect fit

hi this is still telling me its on backorder from Aus warehouse and hobbyking has no apparent email address to ask questions to. does anyone know if they will ever have it in stock and whats their order reliability like
 ezarc 138 points
Its probably faster to just buy it from China/Hong Kong and cheaper also than to wait for it to come in stock here.

Would you recommend the turnigy 1/16 racing buggy or something else? And could you fit drift tyres to the 1/16 buggy.
 ezarc 138 points
I would recomend the beatle if you were going to do any upgrades or this if you want to keep it stock. Yes you can fit drift tyres no problem, I have some hex adaptors that I can fit any 1/10 wheels as well.

I have the buggy the act and the monster Beatle and by far the buggy is the best with all it's hop ups like the aluminium or glass fibre options this car ran great stock but after reving it up s2445-3890 inrunner from the car options page matching it with the turnigy 35a car esc with a 2s 1800mah this car flys handles perfect and is great fun I'd go for the buggy anyday

How long does the turnigy 1/16 4wd racing buggy run for on a zippy 1300mAh 2S1P 20c lipo battery
 wayne 11 points
Runtime is approx 20 minutes constant use. Not heat issues with car or battery. I hire out 5 of these babies with this battery. No issues.

I bought this car with 3 of the Zippy 1300mAh batteries. They do not fit in the car without modification. They will run the car for 8-20 minutes depending on how hard you are driving it. Flat out on the road I pulled 10 minutes on the battery with the charge it came with from HK. Also, its a very simple modification, just need a drill to move the battery holder to the side.

Frieght from overseas is almost as dear as the car if its available overseas it should stocked at aus warehouse

I got mine from Aus warehouse with a really cheap delivery, it came along with my L-4 Grasshopper 1400mm plane. The delivery was less than $20.

Freakin SWEET!!! awsome little rc takes big jump well. Little squirrely in the air but takes a fair pounding. Front shock tower broke on lid landing but nothing else was harmed. Chucked a 3s 1300 pack in after that, still with a limply front leg and tried to break it further. I swear i heard the damn thing laughing at me. Motor ran fairly hot on 3s esc was warm. Ended up snapping the other side of the shock tower. Awsome little buggy, the biggest downside is all the spares are international...... HOBBYKING how's about some spare parts stock in aus. Back the products you sell to get the repeat business. Anyway im chuffed.
