? I have one but dont understand the question
 raf788 19 points
Hi Snappy. Thanks for your reply. My question was a bit off! I had not looked at things correctly and the Motor Mount sent was unbuildable. I hae bought an adjustable mount which I hope will do the trick when I get around to fitting it. I have had a lot of problems building this model mainly because the instructions are use-less, secondly the covering was ery slack and the cut out sections in it you could not find in the usual way.Lastly I just can not see how both elevators are connected together!! This is a problem due to the 'throw's' on both them and the rudder? I will just have to 'Suck-it-and-see'.

Thanks for the info. I belong to a very smaal club which flies just outside of Perth. It is not the greatest but as most of us are Pensioners it serves a purpose. As you I expect weather is critical! This year has been bad limiting our flying days a lot. As for me I am more or less a beginner with models, I spent 15 years flying in the RAF (Shackeltons & C-130's )but never got close to flying models until my wife & I moved to Scotland. My wife is from the Dublin area (Larkhill) so know the City quite well.
I will check out the vidio soonest, until next time take care and happy flying.

Good man let me know if I can help

I suspect the elevators will have separate push rods, not uncommon on these models. Its a better idea I think.

Took delivery of this model a couple of weeks ago. Found the packing to be fine and nothing broken.Checking out item by item had the following problems.
1 All of the nuts and boltsall in the same bag, took an age to sort them out.
2 Covering poor. In places not glued to frame.
3. Cut outs for struts/holes and cut outs very difficult to locate, am having problems trying to locate the inserts for the wing struts and landing gear.
4. Build instruction useless.
With all of the above I still think this will be a great model when it is built up and flying, it's just a pitty that these basic things are as they are.
