can i use in mini wind turbine????
 maverick51 47 points
hello, It is not possible for turbine it's too soft just good for parkflyer
 wellmanite 188 points
If you mean wind powered generator, you will need a lot of wind and could only power a very small load. Scaling down the prop doesn't scale down the air density. I recommend using a 15" slow fly prop to turn a low rpm motor for a wind turbine.
 Haim 90 points
just 2 soft and you probbly need bigger prop.

Hi, can I use this prop with H-King Micro JU-87G-1 Stuka 685mm EPO (PNF)- will it fit scalewise and what are the better options? As the original replacement 3-bladed prop does not have any specs (neither diameter nor pitch) - the smart answer is always appreciated.

Can I suit this prop to 5mm shaft(motor)?
 Granpaw Broon 13 points
You would have to 'ream' th prop out. I would say it is unadvisable. Gramps.
 lechat 33 points
I use it with 4mm shaft. I just drill it with 4mm drill. Flying normal

can i use for hk mini corsair 800 mm?
 Granpaw Broon 13 points
If the corsair is a hand launch, I would avoid this prop as it is pretty feeble strength wise. I use it on a plane with undercarriage and the most gentle knock will break them so I doubt they would survive a belly landing.. gramps
Haim  90 points - 11/14/2012

I know you need 8x6 3 blade prop, this is a bit 2big for it you can try it's damm cheep. I'd buy on the same pack 7x6 3 blade that I found on Planes ARF -> replacement parts. on the same section found T-28 Trojan & 1100mm Stuka 3blade props. there are no details on those props but they seem to be close size of the Hurricane. remember that 9x6 2blades is equal to 8x6 3blades so you can always buy normal prop although it mess the scale

Will this fit the Hawker Hurricane Mk IIB from HobbyKing?
Cannot find the direct replacement for the aircraft on this site,
 morphine 406 points
As cheap as they are maybe just buy one and see if it fits. Sorry I couldnt help with a specific answer.

The HK Hurricane seems a copy of the Art Tech Hurricane like the F4U Corsair and Spitfire. The propeller seems to be the same on all 3 planes.HK sells the Corsair spare propellers product. id is 5J041
 metalguy 44 points
The Durafly Stuka three blade propellor works well on the Art-Tech/HobbyKing Hurricane. I use it on mine, and it is very durable, and only needs to be bushed up on the shaft to work.

Anyone know if this prop is symmetrical and can spin both ways to act as a pusher and puller? I'm thinking of using them for a quad.
 EDMAR 1 points
este produto nao serve para o que vc quer
 beyond limits 18 points
Well yes you can use this as a pusher. But not for a quad as there will be a change in the pitch when you reverse the flow and that will mean two different picth rates for the two rotor sets.

ah cmon HK give us 11x9 3 blade prop for Cessna 400. Seams to be one of the rarest props, can't find it anywhere.

Now in stock mate! Thanks Hobby King!
 Siddman 43 points
11x9 3-bladed? this is 9x7. where at mate?

I see your problem. How did you find this, since it is in the wrong place. You have seen the 3 Blade EP Propeller 12x8 / 305x204mm (PRODUCT ID: XYH3B12x8). It could be trimmed maybe??? Also 4 Blade EP Propeller 10x8.25/254x209.6mm. I have reported this item to Hobby King so it can be placed in the correct spot. THANKS
 FlyRcFly 1744 points
What about this one? HK F4U Corsair 1160x3 Replacement Propeller Set (PRODUCT ID: 5J041). I know it is only a 11 x 6 but it is close. You will find it under Planes ARF,RTF,KIT > Replacement Parts

what prop spinner fits this?
 Der Schwabe 457 points
Hi, I orded this prob a view weeks ago, and it has a 3.175mm bore and a 6-nut editing with 5.5mm.
Hope this answer helps you.
 JRBeaman 318 points
Would be nice if they noticed they always were missing a lot of really basic info on many products and added it. I wonder how many lost sales due to this......
 Michel 15 points
GWS sells a 3 blade spinner that fits perfect on this propeller.

2 thumbs up!
I had bought these props in July of 2007 (Last year) for my P-40 warhawk which I also bought from here, but they no longer carry it.

At first I was really excited, new props, 3-blade, the perfect look. But all four that I bought were unbalanced and caused motor vibrations.

I actually happy they were unbalanced because as of today, I finally balanced the props with some scotch tape. This is important because I learned something new and that was how too balance a prop. It may not seem too difficult, but I was always eerie on how to do this etc. Today I learned and now have it installed on my P-40. No flight test was done but from holding the model and testing, the balance make that smooth slice through the air with no vibrations. Just the way I like it!

I'm going too give them a 4 because they were all unbalanced, but they deserve a 5 because too balance, you need a little bit of tape and 5 minutes of your time! I will gladly buy these again!

1 thumbs up!
first impression: cheap second view: the surface is different on one blade - will this work ?
I tested it on a phase-3 P51. Weight ready to fly was 600 g with a 3Slipo.
-what a blast ! handlaunch and nearly virtical climb is no problem ! I do not see a problem with balance - no vibrations. They withstand a couple of landings into deep grass. So that`s to say: great item !

Like it?
Great prop for stuff like the GWS birds and such. Makes them look so much better then those silly orange props.

Liked em so much I even threw one on my foamy Ultimate, and four of them on a B-17 I built for a bud.

Compaired to the GWS blades they are way more forgiving, bending out of the way verses breaking, and are stiffer so performance goes up.
