I have done discharge testing of several of the leading micro batteries. I was surprised to find that the Rhino 460 out performed every battery tested in it's size range. (Sub 30 gram 2s batteries, including TP 480, Xpower 450s, The new TP Prolite V2 350, SMC 320). It easily handled a constant 7 amps without cooling. Average voltage was about 3.5 per cell with final temp of 132F at 7 amps. With cooling I suspect 9 amps is possible.

It comes with a much longer balance wire than needed and a long wire to JST connector. A JST can not handle the amps that this battery can put out.(I find lower voltage readings even with new JSTs and much lower with older ones.You will not see E-TOC pilots using JSTs!) With 1.5 inch of lead wire and Micro Deans it weighed 28.2 grams.
The Battery stayed perfectly balanced after several high rate discharges. The balance connector and shrink wrap were then removed. This saved 13% of the batteries weight! Lightened fully it weighs only 25.0 grams.
In addition it cost less than 1/2 of the competition.

Excellent quality of this product. Great battery for the price. Delivered 470mah before ESC power reduction.
Would prefer Deans style mini plug as JST produces some losses but still value for money.

| Bought for my new E-flight p40 warkhawk ha ha thats what it says on the box!. These fit just fine and work great . Just compare the price to the recommended e-flite battery

| 5 stars for the battery. Zero stars for Hobbycitys return policy! I ordered 6 of these batteries for my E-Flite P-40 Warhawk. The batteries function flawlessly after 20 flights. One battery has a bad cell... as indicated by the Accucell-6 charger (also from hobby city) Hobbycity will not give be a credit for the $4.79 battery unless i spend $10 to return it. Not cool after spending thousands here?

| In addition to being a good batter from the charge point of view, this one is also slightly lighter than competitor. On the planes where a <500mAh battery goes, even some saved grams are good.

| Very light. Almost identical to the old 460 Hex batts (may be the same) except they have a higher rating and hold voltage a bit better. Highest power/weight I've seen in this class at any price. Highly recommended.

before anyone attempts to criticise these little batts make sure you know what you are doing .
safety is key here if you are puffing battery's than you are doing something wrong/overamping /overdrawing .simple rule is this 1000mah/10c=10A CONSTANT. CHECK THE AMP RATING FROM THE MOTOR MANUFACTURER OR GNOWN ACURATE RATINGS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO REDUCE WEIGHT WITH LOWER MAH AND C RATINGS

Klein, Leicht, Stark. Fr den Indooreinsatz sehr zu empfehlen.
In Meinem Shocky betreibe ich den 2204-14T mit einer 8x4 SlowFly und diesem Akku. Der Motor zieht bei Vollgas ca. 7,5A. Dabei stellt der Akku dann ca. 7.5V bereit.

| Will be using it on my mini quadcopter as the power source for the Arduino. It is only a 30 grams addition but worth it to have a clean secondary power source.
