I used this engine in the model glider deamon, was very good but after 4 flights the motor burned, I'm using 2200mah 3s esc and 10x6 propeller for 30th with brake, what's wrong?
the specs for this motor are wrong, they have given the specs for a 3632 motor I think, I have never seen a 26mm diameter motor than can generate 1850 grams of thrust. this motor probably should be using a 6 or 7 inch prop max.
usei esse motor no modelo planador deamon, ficou muito bom mas depois de 4 voos o motor queimou, estou usando helice 10x6 esc de 30a com freio, o que esta errado?
I ordered one of these for a friend of mine ... now when it will arrive I bet the giu will complani that I advised him a ****py motor !!! I really home that the one I'll get won't be as bad as that !
It's a 50gr motor... Remember the 3watt per gram rule of thumb folks. 50g X 3w = 150w. For a sustained load of 150w at ~11v you would need to keep amps down around 13.6a. For 3d you might be getting away with short bursts above that, but it will not handle sustained loads that high.
Good afternoon, I need the asterisk, I do not know if this is the name, but it's similar to this, "http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewIte m.asp?idProduct=20523" for my engine, it broke. my engine model 2632/1500, which is indicated?
thank you

Just reading the specs makes me shout BS!
Type: 2632* 1500kv* 51g* 33mm x 26mm* 40A* 10"x5"* Pull: 1850g* For 1400-1800g 3D airplane
That makes no sense.
This is a three-phase brushless motor, in fact, most brushless motors operate on three phase AC. So the electromagnetic poles of this motor are divided in three pairs of poles, each consisting of three individual poles, so it has 9 poles divided by 3. Then the moving part of the motor consists of a strong permanent magnet, with N and S poles, mounted on the inside of the casing of the spinning outer can.
I know it was my mistake, but when I looked at the picture of this motor I read on the motor it was a 3632-1500kv and thought I could use it. The part number reads that it is a 2632-1500kv and its to small for my needs at this time. What can I do to let you know more people might make this same mistake and buy the wrong motor?
Voltage: 2-3S max current: 18 A Esc: 20 A prop.: 2S-9x5/8x5,3S-7x3/6x4 Pull: 440g for 550g glider, 500g acro, 390g 3D,

11 thumbs up!
That would be a pretty sweet motor under 2 oz of weight, but pulling 65oz of thrust on 40A! I don't see the confusion around this motor letting up any time soon. Hobby City doesn't seem to change their specs based on user feedback, so it might stay mismarked this way for a long time. Hopefully I'm wrong.

7 thumbs up!
I agreed with Magic, some informations apply to 3632-1500, and others to 2632-10.... In case of a purchasing, what of two motors we will receive?
