Let us asume you have a quadcopter, 4 motors. Each motor draws a current of about 15amps. If all the motors are drawing 15 amps, I should think of it as a total of 15*4 = 60 amps?
This battery can handle a discharge of 35*2.2 = 77amps.
Am I correct ? What would happen if it goes higher than 77amps? Could it burn my escs?
Hello Hobbyking,
after my preserved order (2200mAh Turnigy LiPo) I was happy for the moment. After the 1st accumulator load, I have made the first test journey with my buggy and has ascertained which the Turnigy LiPo Extremely load-solidly and long is constant.
Very well. Top product. Carry on.

may be some factors regarding your setup, but in general, dc current is dc current. nickel batteries should work fine, just make sure the voltage is proper and they can handle the discharge rates.
I am building a quad copter with prop drive 2836 750kv motors i have bought turnigy 2s35c batteries 2200 mah are the batteries i bought sufficient or should i buy something else. also what charger would be good
"Buddy Code" is mentioned several times. EXactly what is that, how is it obtained, how does it affect the final sale price?........George B.*gvbjr*cox****
You use login, and open the buddycode link.
It would lead you to the product with special price lower that what you saw before. One cart is limited to one buddycode item, and usually there is a limit as well on how many qty you can purchase. go to http :// hk .rc -international .info / swarm (remove the spaces)
i need to know i have Turnigy Accucel-6 charger and a tunigy 2200mah 3cell lipo battery. and now when i charge it the charger ask to set the ampere at which it should be charge and then voltage and cell..........
i need to know the ampere to be set to charge the same battery their with charger urnigy Accucel-6?
3cell battery means 11.1V and for the ampere settings. This battery supports up to 2C charge current. For this 2.2 Ah battery it means current up to 4.4 A. This is not recommended value, it's the maximum value - when you don't want or can't wait. With 4.4 A this battery will be charged after 30 minutes (if it was completely empty). Usually recommended value is 1C charge current - 2.2 A for this battery. You'll have to wait (up to) 1 hour before it charges this battery, but it does not stress bat
but some one has told me to charge at .9ampere with the charger to have battery to work for longer life duration. when we select lipo balance charge in battery charger then it ask to input the ampere at which you wanna charge and then it ask the battery cell and voltage.

Sure, you can charge battery using even lower current. It depends how long can you wait. With 2.2 A,you'll charge it after 1 hour. With 0.55 A,you will have to wait 5 hours.1C current is safe for all lipo batteries with almost no impact to their life time. You can use lower current, but I'd not go too low(under 0.4C=0.88A here),because some chargers have troubles when battery voltage does not change fast enough. Also lipo batteries are dangerous, especially when being charged. You should not let batteries charge overnight nor leave them connected to charger and leave.Lower current=longer time to keep an eye on them.
Yes I know that. I am just saying that there are some batteries that can sustain 2-5c when you charge them. It actually seams that high charging currents is the latest rage in the world of batteries right now. I on the other hand will try to charge my batteries on the lowest current I can provided that I am not in a hurry. That way you will normally get more cycles out of the battery before it starts to get old.
That is actually wrong! A lot of the newer Li-Po batteries can be charged at 2-5C depending on the brand. Jason at Hobbycity has told some of the guys in the forum that their batteries will soon come with a 5C guarantee.
Battery weight is 197g. The internal resistance is 8 mOhm One of the packs came heavily disbalanced and it took me a while to balance it back. This is not the case normally with Turnigy packs, but it happens from time to time.
Cells came balanced, only problem I've had is that H.K. have been out of stock of EC60 connectors for over a month and I've ended up changing them to HXT 3.5 with the red shrouds.

2 thumbs up!
Have two and compared directly with Hyperion VX 35C 2600mAh. The Turnigys climb faster on my Rex 450 with Turnigy 2836 Motor, 13 tooth and Roxxy 940-6 Gov. I like them so far. Lets see how long they last, but for the price who cares :)

Very good battery. Comparable to Hyperion VX series with slightly better inner resistance. Direct comparison with exact same heli shows better climb rate as Hyperion lipo. At that price buy 3 and have the same cycles as with one Hyperion.
