Hi guys, can anyone help me out on this x300... i tried to fly this plane but for many attempt, plane keeps banking in left(thou the ailerons are leveled) and dive nose down after throwing it level 3/4 throttle. My friend told me to relocate the battery but seems there has no room for relocating the batt. I also bought the cessna arf but afraid i might nust crash it. Please help... the prop seems not parallel with the nose of plane, some what more space in between the nose and prop on the right side(viewing the plane from top).

i have one very very big question about this plain, WHY WHY WHY on earth can it not be ship to the gloruse united kingdom
is there any way a speacil deal can be made or somthing i relly won't to get hold of this plain, and for £*30.80 it would be a crime not to buy it :( i am not too happy that i will now have to pay upwords of £*50 for it from a uk seller :(
please some one find away.
zamboni  5 points - 11/30/2011

Battery for this plane has died and only one cell works. How would I go about making this a one cell battery to use in a one cell plane?
 zamboni 5 points
Answer to question found. Success!
 Kellyann 16228 points
zamboni well done I wish I could reward you.
 R/CNewbie 3808 points
Reward him/her for what exactly? R u just angling for a cheeky 20c??
 Kellyann 16228 points
R/CNewbie because he was able to do the work and find his answer. I was not just waiting to be spoon fed. Then he cam back and told us he no longer need help. It would of been nice if he told the world what he did but that does not matter. THAT IS WHY I WISH I COULD REWARD HIM Ok!!!

Is there any reason why the shippment of this product is prohibited in all those countries? How can I have this plane? I cannot find any alternative in Greece.
 Benny! 266 points
I can't help with the answer you want but I can save you some time by avoiding this aircraft all together. The motor doesn't last long at all and you'll pay too much to replace it. You would be better off choosing another plane that you can put a normal speed controller and servos in. I know it looks good... that's why I bought one too. The new Edge 540 micro would be better and looks better as well. Cheers

Right, I agree. The plane flies well and its very funny, but the motor lasts only a few flights and you cant swap for a better one, only for the same, which burns very fast again...

Why have they been prohibited from shipping to the uk?
 KaosKane 1430 points
Other companies hold the rights to seel these products for the areas listed,, this is not permitted in Australia so we can buy..ps please credit me i need a button spirit level 2 pack lol *}
 Smash77 64 points
Possibly it is to do with the frequency the TX runs on? Maybe illegal to use the frequencies NE uses in those countries?
 mark michael 2 points
maybe coz by the battery, lipo batteries is not allowed to be transport in other countries.
 Ryan 21 points
it can't be any of that i have brought a plain ade buy the same company (nine egale) it was a sky runner and the transmiter is a normal 2.4 and is leagle in the uk
and i had to get a lipo for it that why it was so cheap from where i got it (toy shop called crocodile)(very nice famliy run place) it was cheap and leagle to ship the battey so it has to be becuase so prat sign some paper to ake money,
if you relly won'tt to get it sent to you from this site get a friend or a specilist company to recive the package rebox the box and forward it to you i now i have just answer my self but still there are place that will only charge you the shipping cost and a small fee of 2-3 £*$ for the prilvage to do so( also the cost of the box and some other bits and bobs but 20£*$ and you should be flying in a few weeks)
The stig  3 points - 9/15/2011

wich engine do you recomend for an upgrade?... i think with the stock engine is underpowered...
 gutibulldog31 65 points
Your best bet should be changing your esc for a brushless one, I´d go with a turnigy 5 Amp or 10 Amp to be on the safe side. If you upgrade your engine without changing your esc you can only fit a brushed one (which are quite less powerfull) and you cant fit an eng much more powerfull cause your esc will overheat and cut
 fcanon 5 points
could you send me pictures? and wich brushless engine you chose?, Mi mail is felipe.canonp*gmail****.
Regards!
 gutibulldog31 65 points
this is the engine I´d go for: 1404N 2290Kv 9.2g 3.5A 160g Thrust Outrunner price 9.97$ in combination with this propeller GWS EP Propeller (DD-6030 152x76mm) (6pcs/set) price 3,39 $. For the esc I would choose this TURNIGY Plush 6A /.8bec/6g Speed Controller price 7,58 $ that handles a brushless engine and it´s light, just 6gr. All products available here at hobby king, at quite a good price. With this combination you will have a rocket, much better than before, and you will have 6 spare propellers that may come handy. Brushed engines are outdated, brushless is the way to go. I will send you pictures when I mod mine, but the process is fairly easy. Ask me if you have doubts or comments.

Thanks a lot, i check that items, and looks great! I just want to know how you connect the esc to the stock receiver?. because the stock engine it has a different plug...or you also will change the sotck receiver? Thanks again!
 gutibulldog31 65 points
you welcome! In fact I´ m gonna change all the electronics. This will be my setup: motor 1404N 2290Kv 9.2g 3.5A 160g with 6030 propeller 3 servo Hobby King 3.7g / .4kg / .10sec Micro esc TURNIGY Plush 10amp 9gram Speed Controller that can be lightened aprox. 2 gr cutting wires and heatshrink. With this setup the original mount for the engine doesn´ t work so a new one is needed. If you want to keep the stock one this engine will fit:BA BL1230 4200kv Brushless Inrunner Motor (or any 1230 size inrunner) it´ s less powerfull but it will fit straightforward. Hope this helps.
 fcanon 5 points
Thanks, do you speak spanish?... vi que eras de españ a.
 gutibulldog31 65 points

Hiya, try this HK P-51D Mustang Canopy & Cowl Replacement Set. Hi, forgot to mention that its also easy to spraypaint the p-51D canopy any colour you like. Its mostly clear with a touch of silver at the front. Silver makes a good undercoat too :)

Be sure to glue your landing gear in place. I lost mine to the grass after a failed hand launch at 75% power. Critter needs full throtle hand launch. Also painted the foam spinned orange and CA's it to the prop. It came loose and I was lucky to find the black prop in the grass.
 __buzz 308 points
same after bending my landinggear all the time it broke of and lost both my props to the grass hk you need to stock these props
 Bfern 26 points
I fly it as a belly flopper and land on the grass. As for the prop, I replaced the stock one with a GWS 4530 and it flies so much better. Lots of power and no overheat issues so far. You can get a prop saver for 1.5 mm shaft.

Hi, Can it really fly 3D? Has it at least 4 channels? Enough power for a torque-roll looks incredible/impossible for such a tiny Toy-like bird but if it has 4 channel I'll go for one!
 bugijs 86 points
Yes 4 channels, but dont know if enough power because motor seems to be bushed.
 pee69wee 39 points
It is a 4 channel plane* the smaller the plane, the easier the acrobatics!
 Learbear 5 points
i have a hard time just trying to get it to fly without trying 3d.

some info abou motor ? brush ? brushless ? kv ? amps ? power ?
 Eric1180 2278 points
Who cares it's a BnF thats almost imposible to modify. So does it really matter?
 tpri@seznam.cz 31 points
yes, it is important information for me. I have some experiences with brushed motor toys (walkera mini helicopters etc.) and if it is plane with brushed motor, i think it is unusable. And if it is brushless, is not underpowered ? may be some flight video will be useful...
 bugijs 86 points
Looks brushed to me. there are only two wires going to motor.

Motor is listed as N60 in the specifications... This is a very common brushed motor used in small heli as a tail motor. It's not very durable, but at least it's available anywhere for about $10. Hopefully it will be available here (as well as the Parkzone ultra micro motors) one day!
 pee69wee 39 points
N60 Motor = mini brushed motor. Probably around 2A.

Does this use the "standard" Nine Eagles Tx, or does it have an upgraded one with channel reversing and exponential? (note standard Tx had a form of dual rates, but they are not adjustable)
 jaskel 155 points
What a rip off....80 or so too expensive
 alexandrosGR 19 points
...maybe it can be modified with a BL esc and motor! Than we will have plenty of power We will also need a Pwm to ppm converter!
 junglegym 119 points
Just finished converting this plane to B/less motor , haven't flown it yet, kept all the factory servos just changed the motor .
 Reece 5 points
I bought the RTF version of this plane elsewhere but my Ailerons are reversed and I cannot find anything about reversing them on the tx. Any ideas???
 Learbear 5 points
mine just has a standard tx no upgrad that i know of.
 Liam 2 points
What motor and prop size ,what servos and what ESC is best to use when converting to brushless
 junglegym 119 points
I used the 5g HK outrunner used all the original gear, block, servos, prop just used the HK brushless convertor and a 5 amp B/L esc fly's alot better slight increase in power makes it more positive . Cheers Jim

This one ist a must-buy! have one at home. It is a real plane, not just a toy. :-)
Much more fun then the Kyosho minium and a lot faster. It is made from a kind of EPP and really strong. Innovative the prop: it just fall off on contact so no broke props anymore (or just lost -), but could be replaced with an 3X3 an propsaver). And you can use any 200 mAh or little more battery instead the expensive original. I love this little flyer.

1 thumbs up!
Easy to fly but not very precise, lots of play on the control surfaces. Faster than I expected, it's quite well streamlined. No good for 3D, not enough power to go vertical.
Not much good at simple aerobatics either, was not able to hold a knife edge. Would be much better with more power. Looks awkward to change the motor since there's not much access to it but it may be possible.

This little fella looks good. Presentation was great out of the box and I think its going to work and fly very well. The problem is that I can't be sure yet because it was supplied with a dead battery so I haven't been able to test it or fly it. Replacement batteries were $10 then $8 now they are $18 each and I have 2 on back order for 4-1/2 weeks now. I wonder if I'm ever going to get to fly this plane. This is very dissapointing. Does anyone know how to restore an under-voltage battery???
