Does it come with deans plugs? If not how do I change it
 WarbirdAL 11 points
No Deans connectors. If you do change them make sure you use the real Deans. I f you use cheaper imitation deans type they can melt. You would cut one wire at a time and solder the connector on.

 piro-flop 6 points
Ive run these in my 700e and had no problems. ive actually switched to 4400mah 30c 11s set up on these packs to lighten my heli and even this set up is quite powerful for 3d so he packs you mention are fine

By Ordering this LiPo while NOT IN STOCK you give HobbyKing a interest-free loan.

Thats why they offer it and never stock it in my opinion.
******************************

Waiting since 7/5/2010. So they need to improve their info level, that is Hobby King of course. :-( Now they have had my money for more than two month's.
 Adrian M 46 points
Yep for sure they happy to take your money and make you waiy for months but the worst thing is thet they can't even be bothered anwering emails will be my last purchase from them
 khmoe@online.no 12 points
When i ordered they said 30days, but after 30days it is still inn backorder.
How hard is it order inn this battery, i see zippy battries is arriving all the time, but not this one.
 Adrian M 46 points
These guys are really funny i was given a choice to change my order and buy ZIPPY Flightmax 4000mAh 6S1P 20C *$54.79 and pay an extra 9.72 usd per battery, for a 20c lipo 1000mAh less that's a joke
Adrian M  46 points - 7/9/2010

Well don't hold your breath too long i have 4 of these on order since end of may and no lipos yet these guys a a bunch liers
 mattk0 134 points
Dude, chill out. It now says "goods arriving in 10-14 days" - they'll be coming and that's part of getting a price that's 1/3 of any comparable battery, sometimes you take the hit in wait times...
 Adrian M 46 points
Lol do you work for hobbyking ?? they can say anything they want (10 to 14 days ) i know how long i have been waiting for these lipos and don't care if they cost 1 dollar i bet you they wont have any stock in 14 days
 Raymond 14 points
Don't order out of stock items and you won't have this problem.
 mattk0 134 points
Sweet! Just came in today 7/14/2010 however now are already out of stock - must have had a lot on backorder - hope everyone got one that was waiting
khmoe@online.no  12 points - 6/29/2010

Could somebody please (accurately) measure the diagonal? :-)

I need the battery in an odd configuration in a circular tube, and the dimensions are very near the maximum.
Thanks in advance :-)
 hubben 300 points
I haven't gotten mine yet, but when I do I'll post you the diagonal..

Hello. Difference often to be from builders, you can made an item and sell to 4-5 retailers. They will put his brand name. I have 1 and will buy 2 more in the future for an F-14 Tomcat of 60 inches wingspan. bye

Actually the 25C model(745g) is heavier than the 20C model (720g). The web description is wrong. It makes sense the higher discharge, the heavier.
 kaon01 97 points
The real WTF is that the 25C costs more than the 20C.

Can anyone tell me why the 25C model is lighter than the 20C and 30C model? It makes sense that it's lighter than the 30C, because the higher C rating the heavier the pack. So....why is this 25C lighter than the 20C?

From Bill Hedge copterman

have a brain glitch! I want to start a discussion of the 6 cell battery in the T-Rex! many say that you should not run the receiver off the 6 cell! Yet the 500 T-Rex does this and apparently has no problem! many put a separate receiver battery, a two cell, when using a 6 cell power pack! But why not in the 500 T-Rex!??
has anyone had trouble with the 6 cell in the 500?

Have forgotten how to start a discussion and get this information!
 ivux_SILVER 37 points
T500 ESC, RCE-BL60G, has a built-in 5-6V adjstable BEC and is rated from 7.4-22.2V (2S-6
S).Other HV ESC normally don't have a BEC like the one that came with T600ESP thus the need of a separate receiver battery or an external BEC.
 Scott 20 points
You want a separate battery anyways because if something goes wrong that disconnects the main battery you would loose complete control of the heli. Flying a 600 and had the align motor go bad in flight and it disconnected the main battery, at least I still had servo control! :-)
MIDNIGHT FLYER  132 points -

I got mine and the connector is nice and heavy duty BUT where do I get these connectors for my ESC and charger. I don't see any on this site but the smaller red ones.
Anyone know?
Thanks
 Kenneth Ablack 220 points
Brent would it be a problem for you to convert to Deans battery connectors? That's what I did.
 MIDNIGHT FLYER 132 points
Thanks Kenneth I am thinking about that but I can't find a solid amp rating on the deans connectors. I have read they are good to 50amps cont. but I want 80amps cont.
What amp draw are you running on your deans.
 Kenneth Ablack 220 points
80 amps but not constant. It varies because it is in a car. By the way those connectors are called sermos connectors if I remember correctly. Type in Anderson Powerpole Connectors in Yahoo and you will get a lot of information to assist you.

19 thumbs up!
I bought 2 of these. I replaced the connectors with HK deans style connectors. I'm using them in my FlyFly Mirage with a turnigy 80amp plush ESC and a HET 600-42 inrunner and a midifan pro rotor.
1100-1200 watts/52amps
With lots of throttle management only using half capacity in a 7 min flight. 10 flight so far batteries are great!! Come down just warm.
In Canada it would be a $300 battery I'm sure.
Can't go wrong.
Thanks HK,HC,UH
