i put one in my micro dt stock and it fried the esc so i got the brushless combo and it fried same as be for and it trend out that the battery was wired wrong. and we hadd it on the volt meter an it 8.1 volts.
I ordered 2. At label it says 350 maH but when I charged & balanced the batteries with 2s and 0.6A option....the capacity goes beyond 350maH.....500 maH.....anyone experienced this?
How did you measure capacity? Discharging it fully? I have 2, both have a real out-of-the-box capacity of 320 mAh. Measured doing a full charge and discharge cycle.
I had 3 of these packs, all exceeded expectations. Two of the have been warn out, over a hundred flights each and disposed of. The third is still working well. The small size and weight of these packs is a big plus. As to the capacity anomaly, it never worried me.
I bought 2pcs and I´*m trying to charge my batteries with the simple turnigy 2s & 3s charger/balancer.
The charger works nice with my 3s batteries but my first time charging 2s and it do not work.. show the light like normal charging but do not charge, I use a voltage meter after and before charge 30m and I see the same 3,80v each cell.
Can you help me?
I guess that you should ask this question in the discussion section of the charger. The batteries itself are normal 2-cell lipos, I have 2 of them an both work well. Good luck!
Thank you for reply!
I´*m a hobby beginer but I know what I´*m doing, the red connector is to plug on the ESC and the white connector is to plug on the charger.
So, the reply to your question is white connector.
sorry telmix. i did no say you are beginer. by the way. welcome to the best hobby in the world. thats why i'm asking you. you have the basic charger. that have 2 plug entry. one for 2S and other for 3S using the balance plug as a charger. most regular chargers you plug the red to charger and white in balancer. anyway. ok saying this. try to look insithe the plug and look if the pins are all in the same level. and the same with the connector. or move the battery white plug to check if it is loose.
At 3.8v they have accepted no charge. these are only small 350mah batteries. have you tried charging them at a lower current ie 0.5a
if both batteries are the same I suspect it is your charger or a setting on your charger that is wrong.
guys,
1.)Can i use this battery for my micro F86 jet? 2.Would this battery compatible with the charger that is included in the RTF version of this micro F86?
Yes, I have both: F86 Sabre (ARF) and this LiPo pack. Battery fit OK (not perfect - you must find the correct place for it and for cables). As I can see, the RTF version include LiPo charger with balancer for 2S LiPo packs like this, so you can use it *-)
Yes you can..i also upgrade mine to make it fast..you just need batt rhino 3S 350mah ,9A ESC, same motor ..your charger is the same it support 3S..but you have to change ESC to a 9A..flys like a bullet
Need the above battery for a Losi 1:24, bnd rock crawler but with Losi Micro connector, or an adapter that will work with the mini jst plug.
Cheers
Jay
because there is not adapter for JST-Losi connection you have to make your own..the good part is that you will keep this for any other JST battery..ok you have to buy losi connector part number W5102 and JST part number AM-9017A cut a little the cables and connect red/red ..black/black..make shure to use shrink tube or buy just the JST connectors without cable and connect it same cable
You must change the connector Losi with the JST Connector in order to simplify the connection and to avoid that the connection burn during a run with mini Losi(my experience)
I have ordered two of these batterys whial thay were still in stock and about a week ago and in my order statas it still seas processing hs this happend to anyone else and why. Shuld i contact hobby king
looking at mathematics and the time of your post, it was chinese new year and they were out of the office for a week, so they got a double- dose of orders and it took longer than it ordinarily would for the same time span to catch up
I charge these at 0.8A (about 2.5C) and they charge in around 18~22 minutes depending on how much I used. I get run times of 7 minutes or more with my small flying wing powered by the 10g Hextronik 2000kv outrunner with GWS 4040 prop. HOpe that helps.
i get about 15 min with mine on the losi 8250kv brushless motor. it takes mine about 20 min to charge at 1A. i like this battery a lot, definitely recommended.
Hi, Myself and a Friend are using this battery in our Losi MRC pro builds with 280 sized brushed motors on Tekin B1R's and find the average run time per battery to be about 18 - 25 minutes depending on how many times you have to spin the wheels. Awesome battery for the size and at the price you can afford to walk around with 4 or 5 in your pocket
with the original motor it would run 15-20 minutes without any problems. but you have to check the motor doesn't get too hot, the original mounting plate will become soft. best you purchase the aluminium mounting plate then you have fun with no limits. charging time at 0.8A approximately the same.
I don't have this exact battery, but I have a 350mah 3s, and with the Losi micro brushless motor and Turnigy ESC I can run for about 1/2 hour. So I would guess about 20-25mins on the stock system
i know i get 20 mins with my 1/24 crawler. i would suggest charging them at .3A otherwise they will not last very long and it should take about 1 hour to charge.
Hi there
Question for mattio79, the ZIPPY Flightmax 350mAh 2S 20C batteries fit the Micro Losi Sct?... What about the dreaded low voltage Losi plugs, the plugs on the flightmax are jst?... How do you get around this and what charger are you using?
Cheers
J.R.
yes they fit the micro sct/rally. i have the rally and it fits very snugly, as far as connectors, i would go to my local losi-supplying hobby shop and order the losi micro plug and have them solder/crimp one on for you. i have a "common sense RC Balance PRO" balancer and a Multiplex ln-5014 charger. i have never had any problems with it and i have been using it for about 7 years now. no kidding!!
it can take up to 30 days for stock to arrive. each day you are without a model to run seems like an eternity. i feel your pain. but there is no sense in worrying. it will happen. what you should do is sign up for email notification of stock.
i am not an expert on flying. you will have to measure your plane's battery bay. leave yourself a little wiggle room. an interference (too big) fit is bad for your plane and hard on the shrinkwrap.
neither, it will more easily fit the Losi Micro SCT and Rally (1/24 scale) i bought it for this purpose and it works flawlessly. honestly, it might fit the DT, but i'd measure to be sure. i think the battery bay might be a bit shallow, but measure to be sure. the current measurements on the website are accurate
Hi there I am getting a SCT as well and was curious what you did about the connector? Did you change the SCT's connector or just replace the connector for each battery you purchase? Would there be enough room in the SCT to have a small adapter rather than changing the plug?
Thanks for any info www.link
i would get the micro deans and swap out connectors. the micro rally and sct both have a 2s lipo lvc. i would not trust it though. the differentials in those vehicles are also pathetic. i upgraded to a brushless system and it has destroyed 3 diffs. the plastic they use for the ring and pinion as well as the diff cases are not good materials. the diff case flexes just enough to let the brittle ring and pinion to unmesh making them slip and shear off the teeth. tbh, i would stay away from lipo and anything that takes these vehicles away from stock, other than a better-performing, cooler running brushed motor.
Don't use this battery for the micro foam planes for sale on this site. They are just too heavy - go for a 200mah battery (or less) instead to keep the weight down.
