KeyChain Camera - Problem

Guys, once again I come here asking for your help.

 I bought another camera and I was drawn to because mine came defective!

Well, I think that is a problem in the software that comes installed, it takes pictures as normal, but when I give the command to do video, it only records the sound not the image.

When I access the memory card in the VIDEO folder, you have two, one is the RECORD folder and the other VLT.

RECORD folder is a sound file that can be run in Media Player, already in the folder has two files that VLT know.

Someone can tell me what's going on?

You dont have the right codec, download VLC player, its free and then try to play the file.

 I'm sure its not only audio recorded ;)

I changed the firmware and can not but make the videos, she takes pictures normal, but when I run the command to make the video, she takes a photo and not video.

Can I go back to the original configuration?

 It will take pictuers and record sound but no VIDEO when you use windows media player ,the HK key cam is #7 and will  play video with the DivX player driver this is normal for this #7key cam, just google DivX player driver, its free and very simple to use . there is nothing wrong with your  key cam , its just your video software. other # key cams can use windows meda player but not this one.  Hobbyking should make this known on the product page .  You are not the first to have this happen to, this question has been asked many times.

Problem solved guys!

After testing various firmware, I sent an email to the website owner http://chucklohr.com/808/ and he answered me with the solution!


Email: Hello Thiago Aragon

Reinstall the firmware using the burntool. There are two firmwares (V3.01 and V2.04) andyou need to try and find the one Them That Works in your camera.
Your camera heroes of might not work with the latest version
.

I downloaded the version V2.04 and bang!! Very Happy Very Happy

Took one photo, the other gave no more sign of life but even so I decided to reinstall the firmware and now it's just a joy!

Hello. Excuse me, but I just got this thing from HK, delivered as a kg of potatoes . And - as usual - no paper ,no user manual no instructions , no datas. How do I use the four buttons? how to know the operating limits?
Where can I download  the software to exploit the film? ( Linux )

Sorry once more . I found Chuck site where all is mere clear . But what a hide & seek for an simple I F U !!
Why  HK didn't refer to it on his trade site ? I don't want to know

But I don't know the name or number or - in fact - anything , concerning the kay chain cam I have bought . Because there is nothing written on the device , and no paper with it . So I can't even know the serial number or type number ? Opening  the box and look at the PC board is the last chance to disclose if it commes from Mars planet factories or  outer world .

 The only thing I couldn't find ( or understand ) in Chuck marvelous site , it is how can we clear the SD card when it's full ?
