you may wish to look at prop use,a larger prop size will provied more pull at lower settings.you would have to look at the one that will give you the best climb for amps.

Don t forget at that height you are running into thin air , prop size should increase to compensate .

That very much depends on the power to weight ratio. When the static thrust is above 1½-2 times the weight of the plane, vertical is the most efficient way to climb.
For the most effective climb in general, I would think that you have to hit the point where the motor has its highest efficiency, which may be lower than full throttle. Edited by Frank B - 26/Jun/2012 at 12:10am |
