Hi all!

I order the Turnigy D2836/8 1100KV Brushless Outrunner Motors for my first quadcopter, but i don't know which propellors i need. I need minimum 2 propellors clock wise and 2 counter wise.

Can someone advise me?
Thanks!

Thomas

or any set from here:

you need 4 the same size with 2 clockwise and 2 counter clockwise rotating.

sometimes CCW is designated R i guess for reverse...

ie 2x 8045R SF
and 2x 8045 SF

get a few spares though. as they break if you crash and are sometimes out of stock or you have to wait to get them...

the size depends on your weight, but id recommend if you arent trying to lift anything other than the quad at the moment and are beginning to get some 8 inch ones rather than 10 inch ones as suggested by previous poster as smaller props respond quicker and can thus be easier to fly.

I have the same motors on my Quad. I have run with 3S and 4S lipos. For the 4S I used 8040 or 8047 props.

I am currently running with 3S, which due to the lower top revs can handle larger props. I am currently using 9047s. I have tried a few from HK and found most of them where unforgiving to being crashed. Then I found some 9047 (greeen or black) props under the "Multi-Rotors and Parts/Propellers" section on HK which are quite crash resistent. They bend a bit but don't shatter as easily as the others I tried.
