i got this Red brick 30A but im not sure if they sent me the correct esc. it is smaller and thinner compare to my 25A red brick. label says 30A but comparing it to the picture from the website its looks different. im scared to put it on my plane i might burn the esc and crash my plane. i dont have means to measure the rating of the esc. i was wondering maybe some of you have the same issue. here are some pictures

here is from the store 30A

20A

side by side with my Red brick 25A

Red you could do a static test if it gets real hot don't use it if it stayes cool you should be ok.the size alone will not tell you how many amps the ESC can take some of mine are 2x biger than the next one but rated the same it will depend on the chips they use for it.the smaller and lighter ones are for air frames.a 30 amp car can be a brick.

would not trust it than, not sure why the others look like bricks and do better.the one you got may be V2 not allways a good thing.

PS it does look more like the 20 amp than the square 30 amp one??
