The broken Turnigy Cam clock could be fixed?

I bought a Turnigy TRUE 30FPS Ultra-small Digital C�mera and this product 
arrives at my home on Monday, February 8th 2010.

I read all the handbook and try to 
use the cam. 

I put the battery and connect the 
USB cable in PC and Camera, a red light appeared. The battery was in charge. 
About 40 minutes after, the red light turned off. 

The problem is, I turned on the cam 
and the PC didn�t know the cam. I use windows XP. At home I use Windows Vista at work. I 
remove the cable and one blue flash light turned on. I click in the modal 
button, but nothings happened. I did the same thing with the other battery and 
the problem is the same.

What I can do?

	did you insert supplied sd card into the cam before connecting to computer? computer won't recognize the camera without memory unit. also try to use some other usb cable and/or usb port, it may be damaged.

	I too have one of these cameras:it works but its difficult to know when its actually taking a photo/videoing. Mine has no yellow light as per infojust a red or red&blue. Doesn't make a noise when picture is taken? Would like comments/info from those who have been successful.Tom Tom

	My camera "died" - nothing helped, even reset... I could not even power it off except for reset button. When I disassembled the camera i found out that the camera element is just not sitting tight in it's socket. Camera chip is not soldered, it's just inserted, so probably it fell from it's socket from wind and\or vibration. So i inserted the camera back into is socket and ... no luck... Resetting - no luck. Still was constant red light without any reaction. Reformatted usb into fat... no luck, reset - again ...no luck... Tried shortening battery contacts for a second or two- no luck... Draining the battery down did not work... no luck either! I almost gave up, when I suddenly torn the battery wire from the board... I resoldered it and IT WORKED. So if you think that your camera is dead - don't hurry - check that your camera chip is properly inserted into it's socket AND you HAVE to cut the battery wire (somewhere in between so it would not require precise soldering skills) and reconnect it back, so it would cycle the power... P.S.IMHO neither the reset nor power switches do not cycle power on every curcuit.. Edited by Gloupy - 17/Sep/2010 at 8:54pm
