Not a lot of difference between the clone and the real thing. Rims are a bit weaker, different brand motor and the clutch spring fails easily on the clones, but besides that they seem pretty good.

or EVEN BETTER, HPI BAJA 5T clone except with all upgrades so its rock solid from the get go and ummm 4WD! That will kill HPI heheheheh
I will explain myself: Yah we live in a world of RC clones, but for once in the RC Car/Truck world I want to see a clone out do the original.

Yep, an all steel & aluminum Dune buggy like the HPI
Baja 5B kit (No plastic please) would be nice. HK should make a rock crawler truck or a
4x4 pick up truck (Like a Toyota Hi-Lux 1980-1983) with a 20-33 cc gas
engine.
If HK need help, I can reverse engineer a HPI Baja, you just have to send me one and I will draw it on catia (3D modelling software) and tell wich alu/steel you should use. |
