How does anyone know (other than experience) what prop fits what motor etc?? **-They don't list the diameter of the whole? AND ****it doesn't seem like they list the diameter of the shaft on the brushless motor?? THANKS :)
I've received indore props for small planes with larger bore for shaft than some other larger props for outdoor electric. As long as the hole is a little small you can allways bore a bigger hole.
Sometimes the bore may even vary from lot to lot.
Prepare yourself with a bore correction kit.
E, so I wanted to get an idea of how it would run. Tests are on 6s, 2200mah 40C packs. 14x8 - 8200rpm, 1040W, 21.25V, 46A 13x10 - 8400rpm, 840W, 21.5V, 39A The motor is packaged very nicely (normally doesn't excite me, but this looked kinda special!) Motor looks to be high quality and runs very nicely. Based on the results, the resistance of 26 mOhm looks good, and Kv somewhere around 420. Will update with results when I've flown the
Yes it's a good idea to use a prop adapter because the hole is large. To buy an adapter, check the diameter of the motor shaft on the Champ, and then buy one to that diameter.
For the parkjet it should be great, the standard parkjet prop is 5x5, so the slight lower pitch will probably give a slightly lower speed and amp draw, but will fit and work well.
The prop probably has too little pitch for enough thrust on the warbirds. If the standard prop is 5x5, then a 6x3 or 7x3.5 wold be suitable for a bit slower flight but again a slow flight prop can't pull a fast plane and low drag plane just as a high pitch prop can't pull a high drag frame.*)
the stock propeller is 5.5x4.5 on the funfighter series, does that change your opinion on these as replacements starscream ? (I'm interested to know as I m about to order them as spare). Thanx
I've been told inner diameter is 4mm. I use these on a 3mm shaft and use some heat shrink tubing on the shaft. Seems to work fine. Try these propsavers. Just ordered some myself. www.link
This is a perfect Prop for a small 15 gram motor or so. Cheap and the quality is reasonable. Have it on a friend's parkjet. great performance with a turnigy motor.
Otima helice para ser usada em motores de 5/7gramas com 2000kv.
Recomendo.

1 thumbs up!
If you have a ParkZone or Eflite UM plane...and you're not using the 5043...you are the guy driving the V6 Mustang with spoiler on the back. You are not maximizing your performance...THESE PROPS WILL MAKE YOUR CHAMP, SUKHOI, TROJAN, P-51, ETC COME ALIVE!!!
