will this work for 3000 tutigry batery pack
on cell blew made 3 cell need new wrap
 nieles17 43 points
you can check very simply for your self. measure the circumference of the pack. this should be between 314 and 157 mm for this given heat shrink. the unshrinked shrink wrap has an circumference of 314mm (100x pi (3.14)) the shrink ratio is 2:1. when the shrink wrap is 100pcnt shrinked is has an circumfence of 157mm.

BEWARE!!!
This shrink tubes 10 mm dimension is AFTER shrinkink. Not before. It has minimum 20 mm width before shrinking.
And it also has minimum 1,5 mm thickness which makes this thing VERY HEAVY.
I have one occupying space in my toolbox! Such big width is not usefull for RC...
USELESS FOR FLYING RC MODELS...
 nieles17 43 points
maybe they changed this, but when i ordered some of this stuff it wass 100mm diameter before shrinking! but i ordered atleast one year ago
 MADDIVER 178 points
I ordered it 2 month ago. It is completely useless for me.
 nieles17 43 points
sorry to hear that. could you measure the shrinkwrap for me? how wide it is when it is layed down flat? mine is 157mm wide BEFORE shrinking. (for a total of 314mm so a diameter of 100m, as stated in the product discription)
 MADDIVER 178 points
I am sorry to mis lead you all. It is actually 157 mm as nieles17 stated above. Still useles for me. :)

I used my one on a turnigy 5000mah 30c 6 cell so this 100m will fit most battery packs.

233g a meter, is that correct?
 H-KING_SCOTT 5160 points
Yes 233g per meter.

Yes its a very big heatshrink
 Bikemad 21 points
It reads 0.22Kg including the rubber band on my digital luggage scale.

Would this fit over a 148x49x49mm lipo?
 Williwaw 1168 points
Yes it would fit...infact it may be too big. Here are my preshrunk dimensions: 160mm x 150mm (stretched open)
 marell01 89 points
It is 100mm in diameter!
 747driver 12 points
Just tried, it fits 2 of those batteries so with a 2:1 shrink ratio it's too large for a single lipo with that dimension...
 oldvinyll 75 points
It would even fit your leg (if you are grown up normal). It comes folded flat and the surface is 160mm each x 2 which gives a total surface of 320mm.
A 6s LiPo needs a lot of shrinking heat to get catched by the shrink tube.
 iosxphone 29 points
it says 1:2 but give or take a little mabey
 Liquid_Ice 19 points
Yep, you'd have to put it the long way in though but that's fine.
 Paul 7 points
No, inside width of tube laying flat measures 160mm, therefore (before shrinking) it will not fit over anything with a circumference > 320mm.
 747driver 12 points
I've used it to make a 12S3000 Turnigy pack.
The problem is that it is so thick that the required heat to shrink it destroyed the lipo's blue heat shrink tube...
Wish they had the tube used for their Turnigy lipos (same thickness and size) for repairs double the size to make 12S packs

ITS HEAT SHRINK TUBING, VERY THICK STUFF AND WILL HOLD UP TO ABUSE. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A HEAVY DUTY HEAT GUN.
