Is this shrink tube black only or is it black and red like in the photo?

Yes it's perfect for that... the plastic they come with often cracks and peals away. so this stuff is great.

Depends on the size of the cells, just take into account that the whole package has to be greater than 100mm (4 in) around, in order to be wrapped. The tube has "80mm flat before shrinking" that is a pachage of 160mm around can be wrapped. It also is very thick, good for protection, bad for weight.

yes. this is infact the size after reduction. after shrinking it will shrink to 50mm. original size before shrinking is almost 70mm

Pleas, smaller sizes too! Like 25 - 30 mm diameter, for the smaller esc's!

Very good value for money. Good for shrinking the batteries and other things. Perfect cvalue for money.. Be carefull 50mm is after shrinking, not before. So this is big size.

o unico problema e' o peso extra, mas protege muito bem as baterias.

Je dois dire que j'ai ete particulierement surpris par l'enorme largueur de cette gaine thermo noire de marque Turnigy. Celle-ci est d'ailleurs largement au-dessus des 5 cm (elle est plus proche de 8 cm que de 5 cm). Un veritable bonheur pour celui qui aime fabriquer ses propres batteries. Au final, un produit extremement rare a trouver en France, bien qu'il soit plutot difficile de la ranger dans ses petites affaires. Mais peu importe...
