Hello, Will this fit over the T connectors/Deans? I want to protect the connector and soldering by covering it with a heat shrink.
 Carcaradon 2 points
sim, funciona muito bem. Mas lembre-se vocĂȘ vai ter que retirar o conector do fio passat heat shrink e depois colocar o conector de volta. Isso se 10mmm for muito justo. Lembre-se de usar 01 H.Shrink para cada fio

I have this heat shrink, it won't quite fit over a deans plug. Get the next size up.
 KC36330 1 points
it will fit, you will need to stretch it a bit, but that's easy to do, just insert needle nose pliers in the end of the tube and pull on the handles to spread the jaws, it'll stretch the shrink tube without damaging it, when you heat it, it shrinks down and you're good to go.
 Benjamin 1 points
hey I would get the next bigger ones
 TheJackal 3 points
Heatshrink usually ends up 50pcnt of original size.

I need a tube that starts at 10mm, to shrink down around a 6mm plug. Is this it? The "Diameter: 14mm" puts me off.
 ankurkaul17 111 points
H Yes this heat shrink will do..it shrinks to about 4 mm. Hope this helps

These sizes on the shrink tube is the diameter of the unshrunk tubing. Heatshrink usually shrinks down to about 50-60% of the unshrunk size.
 zerobyte 99 points
yes this is it
 ankurkaul17 111 points
This can shrink upto 4 mm..i have tried it...so you should not be facing any issues for 6mm plug
 __Phoz 23 points
It is too big, this one shrinks down to 10mm
 byohnd 8 points
i use that heat shrink on my 6.5mm bullet connectors without any issues.
 juergen400 91 points
the 14mm are wrong. it shrinks from 10mm to 5mm
 Justin 11 points
Yep, mine shrinks to about 7-8mm (given it's on some thick wires..), so 6mm is right around perfect. Should be good to go.
 ljuaneda 59 points
this shrink about 4mm, so should be the good choice for your use
 Justin 11 points
Yep, this is it.
 JBoyd 26 points
the 14mm is outside diameter, inside diameter is closer to the 10mm mark. If you are worried I would get the 6mm heat shrink and stretch it slightly with a pair of needle nose pliers to fit around your 6mm plug and then shrink it.
 Liquid_Ice 19 points
It should be able to shrink down far enough, I think it can go all the way down to 5mm
 lincellusion 76 points
www.link are what you are looking for. these are the 10mm ones, and because they shrink to about half the size (in this case 5mm) it wil be fine for what you need it for (10 to 6)
 Bx3mE 14 points
You can use 8mm and force it open to 10 mm using suitable pliers and then shrink it to 6mm

good product 10mm dia, shrinks to about 4mm dia. perfect size for holding servo extension on those long runs. Is not the glue impregnated variety like ones from electrical contractor supply companies. hover price is definitely unbeatable.
