We suggest customers to not program the esc with their Tx.
I regret to buy this esc , it is working but not efficiently for my boat(Miss geico ) , I bought also following Program box because i dont want to arrange with transmitter but program box does not work.May be i had a mistake to buy following program box. Nobody help me how it could be programmed esc with following program box , there is no manual anywhere... I dont know that my esc is competible with following program box... help me please...
Hello ! I´*ve a little problem with one of my two esc. After flashing the new firmware the esc didn't work. Could you send me a correct and compatible version of the firmware.
NO REVERSE!! no programming parameters for it.
reverse would be nice on an ESC this size ... most boat models benefit from having reverse. get the hint H.K.
I have just ordered one of these assuming that it comes ready to go. I've read in the manual that it comes with a usb adaptor and cd rom but some reviews have said that is not the case. What should I expect?
Answered my own question with a call to HK. The ad does not say specifically that it comes with programming devices only that it can be programmed with thse devices. So, don't bother ordering one of these without a programbox/USB and or the appropriate connectors to match battery etc. . .
Aslo, contacting online support was a fruitless endeavour because you only get a sles person not a technician.
Igot this esc and the downaloafd manual indicated a USB linker and a CD are included but it is not.Have ordered the usblinker and a progrmaming card but they re on back order. I tried connected the esc to the recevier but it only make some music sound and nothing moves.Any idea on what I can do to make it work. The back order some times takes more than a month to get it.

I got the same problem. No way to make it work.Please can you tell me where you download manual. I just tryed to conect it right now and i have not investigate the question for the moment If i find a solution i will let you know.

There is alos some exe file for the programming but u ccant transf the data until u get a USB linker.
I spoke with someone at HK last night and they replied that the manual is nt put out by them so it is not a reflection of what is included in the purchase. So it looks like I'll be hunting for a turnigy program box if I want to set up my new ESC.
Finally got my ESC and installed it. It acted the same way. Read through the manual several times and successfully programmed it with my transmitter after several attempts. I understand the program box or card makes the process a whole lot easier but doing it with the transmitter is not impossible. Trial run with the boat seemed to go well with the ESC running quite cool. But I had done the recommended modifications eg. removing the water fittings, and re-sealing them.
It should not be a problem using this ESC in a seaplane.
Of course, you will not get any water-cooling wile in the air with the plane, so I would be carful drawing a lot of amps if you cant get sufficient cooling.
I felt a similar frustration when I first bench tested my setup. . . . Glad I persevered until I successfully programmed the unit. Up until then I thought HK has sent me a dud.
just set your trottle to the lowest then plug the battery and you will hear a beep and accelerate the trigger r stich and you will hear another beep and it ready. you can now adjust the trottle response.

If Aqua Star and Super Brain series use same programming card then is it possible that hardware is also the same and it is possible to update firmware from Aqua Star to Super Brain?

Hi bought this ESC to replace one of my esc. Hvae donwload the manual from the site and it indicated that a CD and USBlinker were included but actually not.Have order it now and a Turnigy programming card but both were on back order. I tried and have connect the esc to the receiver and it makes some music sound but nothing moves.any suggestion on what I can find out what is wrong or what I can get it working nee

This product is not waterproof like discription says.It also leaks at intakes causing circuit board to fry.This is of poor quality construction and it only lasted 2 outings.Not a good product unless you do some repair work before you use it
