Where can I find a Heli muffler for this engine. The bolt patern isn't the same as a OS or THunder Tiger 50. But a SUper Tigre 50 airplane bolt patern works. But ST doesn't make Heli mufflers.
I'm searching for the muffler too. "ASP S52A - Muffler Assy " can be used with this engine. Can someone confirm - that muffler bolt spacing is 37mm for this engine?
They have a upgrade kit that has all the parts you need to change your Raptor 30 into a Raptor 50. It consits of different gears, the longer boom and rotor blades. Check ****helikraft**** or ****heliproz**** for the upgrade kit. I upgraded my Raptor 30 to 50 then built another Raptor 30 with the leftover and spare parts and had two heli's
Helikraft has the KL0050 - upgrade kit on sale for $71 - Raptor 50 V2 conversion kit 3830 (KL0050) although the shipping is usually around $20-$30 on average.
I wonder, where can I find the head gasket s46h why my engine broke a board, took a board and is running normal, but I conprar another if I need to change.
Pode instalar em aviao sim Valdecir, Eu uso um desses a mais ou menos um ano em um Solo Treinador. O motor nunca deu problema, e bem bom, O escapamento pra ele é* o mesmo do OS.
A questã*o de vela vai variar o local que voce voa. Se for em logal frio, voce deve usar uma vela quente se for em local quente voce vai usar uma vela fria. O unico problema e que vc nao vai poder colocar spinner nele. So isso!
The only difference with a Heli enine and a Airplane is the carb has is designed for better meatering in the mid throttle area. You hover alot with the Heli. If you did alot of Airplane 3D flying and hovered alot that engine would be perfect.
it seems to like a number 5 plug as to engine mount im not sure of the measurments but can say bolted into mt trex 600 as if it was made for it rob98 akl nz
Turnigy 9x radio is very good. I use it for more than a year. Fly helicopters CX 450 and HK450 pro. Good radio at a good price. I too am learning to fly, now the sports hall because the weather is poor. greetings
I just received this engine. Being new to the nitro, my engine is very hard to turn, it seems like when the piston is at the top it sticks, I have to use pliers on the crankshaft to turn it. Is this normal because its new?

Look through ther exhaust port ,I think you'll see no ring in the piston therefore it has to be tight at the top or tdc to seal for better power. It does free up once engine up to temperature.
Tight is a good thing. If you want to turn it over without fuel, I'd reccomend you oild the piston and sleeve to protect it.

Yup, there is no ring on these engines. I'm glad someone else's is a little tight - Mine too. Was a little worried but I assume it will run itself in. My starter does not have enough juice to turn it for now so I'm going to do it by hand for a while. good luck with yours Mikecup. Brad

Im sorry to say that I wont be able to make that vid just yet, I managed to injur my right eye while working friday last week, so I have been set back abit on my projects. I will try to get it done later this week or the weekend, should be seeing normaly by then.

easily 15 minutes but i would say that is too long to concentrate with a helicopter. Set a timer for 6-10 minutes as you dont want to loose concentration and crash. Its also very tiring staring at heli for long periods while learning.
Yes MP5 muffler will fit. OS 50 size outlet on exhaust port.

All OS 50 size compaptible pipes fit this engine. It idle very good and have a good sound. Very good perfomances and the price is ridiculous...
I fited this engine in a TZ-V2. You need to rotate the carburator arm for pointing down. Also, you have to find a thin metal washer and put it over the stock one on the crank shaft bearing else, the crackshaft scrape the backplate.

It is very cheap but powerful RC glow engine for heli. At this homepage has poor informations about this item. It is ABC type engine not ring type such as OS 50 hyper engines... In the indtruction manual, ASP has so many items... But Hobbyking has only this engine for helicopter... If hobbyking can touch with ASP, please add other heli engines in hompeage...

Comprei um para teste, foi colocado em um raptor 50 e fiquei surpreso com o desempenho do motor, para 3D no tem bom rendimento, mas para vou normal esta aprovado.
