Look at the price of cf boom for the hk600, cheaper than this boom for hk500? Why is that?

This is most probably the high quality RJX CF boom which retails for around $15 elsewhere. The 600 CF boom is probably more like the cheap 450 CF booms HK manufactures themselves. It doesn't seem as though RJX make a CF boom for the 600

What happened to the shipping on this item? Apparently this is now a "large box item" and can only be shipped to Canada via Global EMS? What's going on here?

Yes I noticed that too...You pay for postage for large packages(to my country it's 34USD-EMS only) I'm buying a boom elsewhere.

By using the CF tail boom, do you still need to ground the boom using the replacement tail block. I'm assuming you don't.

Does this fit the GT metal tail housing? or need some cutting so the tail belt won't be too tight?

fits ok, but not as snug as i would like for the boom. has too much flex and can easily be crushed by tightening the boom support.

Very light (18.6g), but pay attention, the wall thikness is 0.5mm (inner dia. 15mm). I don't make crash-test yet, but as for me it's too thin. However may be recommended.

Looks good, seems more than strong enough. I'm glad mine had no silk screen printing on it. No problem with stabilizer mount "crushing" tube for me.

fr den Preis unschlagbar. Allerdings muss man hier wissen, dass das Material schon sehr dnn ist und recht schnell zerbricht. Kleine Anpassungsarbeiten ntig.
