Hi Malshan, you can mod the ending of the battery with the ending of the battery holder from the Tx. I think you will be fine and with a good Battery. This way is a lot better than using the original one.

This battery pack won't fit a 9X.You need a flat pack(8 cell),not a square pack.It won't fit inside the 9X battery compartment.

Forget that last response.I was thinking of my other radio which is a T6XAS and it uses a flat pack not a square pack.The 9X DOES use a square pack or a lipo pack such as the Rhino 2620mah 11.1V TX lipo pack.It's what I use in mine and it has worked well over the last year that I've had it.I do wish they would make some TX packs though using the Turnigy LSD cells.They have ready made RX packs but no TX packs.Hobby King,are you listening?Both 8 cell square packs and flat packs would be nice to see here for sale.

Yes good one turnigy 9x it has 110-40-25mm place of the back for battery but this one is suitable, you can also use lipo pack.

If you zoom in on the battery you will see the label states that this is a Ni-CD battery

I have been trying to buy this battery for over two years. As you commented this battery is never available. If they can not supply this item I agree that Hobby King should remove it.

This battery comes in Futaba transmitters and sold for about 40.00 dollars at Tower Hobbies. Hobby King advertises it for 3.99 dollars but I have never seen this battery available at Hobby King.

Get with the program..Either stock it or don't list it. Same with the Helicopters if you sell them you should have all the parts in stock to repair them. Even when I place a order and pay for it I am still waiting!

I have been waiting for this item to arrive for about 4 months. They will not accept a backorder. Today I received notice a shipment arrived but it is still shwoing on backorder and will not accept accept a new order. I would like to know if it can't be backordered, how it is already out of stock when a shipment just arrived. That shipment could not have bee used to fill backcorders because they don't accept them for this item. Very consufing!
