Ultra fast microprocessor controlled, extremely low resistance circuit and chip design, and aluminum heatsink for better thermal dissipation are just some of the features in the new TURNIGY Super Brain range of brushless speed controllers. The Super Brain brushlessesc is a high performance ESC capable of standard and competition use. Full protection, including signal loss, over-temperature. Programable by USB, PC or your Tx. Compatible with all radio systems.
Features: Supports the ‘Turnigy USB Linker’ to program the ESC by computer. Internet upgradeable ESC firmware. Integrated flight data logger, records data for the ENTIRE flight such as: - Voltage - Current - Temperature - Motor RPM - Throttle travel
I just upload lastest tested firmware and Hifei Software V4.01.
Just update your firmware with original Turnigy SuperBrain program
You will can be use Hifei Software and get last mcu software.
Firmware - www.link Software - www.link Software V4.01 - www.link
Bought one of these, tested it once for less than a minute.downloaded info on pc later tryed it again can't get it running.maybe did somthing in program set to default still no luck any ideas??
REPOST 1. Can you confirm the BEC switched? There are comments that it is linear. BEC is marked 2A on ESC but description says 4A? 2. Where is the manual?
I just ran a BEC output test on a mate's 20A Super Brain. At a 2A load the output voltage dropped to 4.86V and the ESC heated up to 96F. Pulling more than 2.3A resulted in the temperature spiking to 135F at which point the ESC shut down.
After letting it cool for a bit I stripped off the heatshrink and replaced the stock aluminum heatsink with a copper one. It still shuts down around 2.3A but never exceeded 90F.
If I need software to make the super brain and usb linger work, where do I find it? HK gave me zero repeat zero in the way of instructions. Someone mentioned ****link. What sort of help is that? No such real url. Why does not HK tell me?
Do I have a bunch of **** or do I need help?
This is the best ESC I never used. It runs in a GAUI EP200. I had never seen such a good governor mode in any esc, even Kontronic. I will try the 100A one with my TRex600 as soon as possible.

Worked very nice for about a dozen flights on a HB King II heli, then started degrading. First it needed a power cycle after each spin down to power the engine again, now it just resets the receiver when throttle is applied, and the Jeti REX 7 MPD receiver goes into fail safe mode. Servos are dead, and the gyro (Futaba GY401) is blinking. I guess the current limiter is damaged. Also tried downloading data to the Program Box, but it halted at 84pcnt. HK asked me to return it for a replacement, but paying $35 for returning a piece of dead electronics that costs $28 - well.. Any suggestions?
