I don't understand the measurement. Is this for max 25mm diameter flywheel? Because that is TINY!! My revo .15 has a 35mm flywheel. Is this not suitable for 1/10 or 1/8 nitro cars with .15-.21 engines?
The 25mm diameter measurement is the gap between the two prongs. If you measure your engine or flywheel you will notice that the crankcase of the engine is approximately 25mm and the internal ring of the flywheel is 25mm as well. Measuring off my tool it can fit a 40mm flywheel easily.
i just got one a few weeks back its a awsome tool its better to screw a 3mm bolt in the end of you crank shaft when you use it and the cool thing about this tool is the very top it has a place to put a screw in so theres no need to search around for one its on board this tool is a must have for any nirto racer or even a bashr
No... That's bull!! It just depends on the gears you want to remove... Steel gears or the big 5th scale gears won't have a thing when you use this tool... Smaller gears shouldn't be a problem either when used with caution...
This flywheel removal tool leaves no trace after use. It is far better for your engine then hitting it with a hammer. Must have tool for nitro engines!
