Hello, couple of quick questions for other owners of the 21M
(1) What what size shaft does this engine accept at the coupling..?
(2) What size the mounting holes are..?
(3) Can the supplied muffler be fitted facing forward or backwards..?
Thanks for any info....Mick
First 10% nitro make no sense. If you need only to have good response on throttle stick you need 1 to 5% nitro. If you need power and revs you have to use 12% - 45% nitro depending of the set-up and temperature stress.
Second start with plug N6, than you can orientate on low RPMs what you need.
No, it is impossible. On vehicles with advanced engines put an air cooling jacket to tomuzhe needed traction. (course I can change, but that is not worth it for sure)
discussion section not working. if this is a watercooled marine engine, why is the reccomended prop size 8*6, and why is a plane muffler included?

I've had an ASP40 water cooled, and everything fine except the carburettor. Pretty much everything that could go wrong with the carburettor did. If you stick to the stock muffler, you could be fine, but I was running a tuned pipe, and getting some pretty good revs out of mine, in a jet boat. Not sure whether they have changed carburettor, or if different sizes perform better, but keep an eye on the settings, I found they kept wandering.

Got mine a week ago and after one liter of break in I think is ready to fly. Very good idle, good max rpm but very sensitive screw for mixture. Notice for first 5 min run take throttle full open and maximum mixture screw open to bring low head temp (about 40 degree celsius): I will try to built a brass tuned pipe after few test flies. I will buy another because I'm very satysfied
