Not much. The brighter ones can help with visibility. You don't have to use these. But nothing wrong with a bit of bling.

Ive used them to enlarge the grip on my 9x. just put them on the radio sticks and feel confortable (at least I do :) ) they are some type of semi-hard rubber.
