Hello,
With all the comments I'm now wondering if 90mm really means 90mm?? I'm getting the eRC Super Hornet and pre-empting FOD damage I would like some protection. Is this baby going to do it for me?
Thanks,
rrrrcccc
So, I spent some time speculating, based on guard sizes, we could try to predict turbine sizes (heheh) this means in Jetcat terms, the 110mm guard means p-80 to P-120 size, the ~90mm size could mean P-70 size (around abouts) and I hope there's still a 60mm guard coming for P-20 size.. Ideas? More questions? I want candy...
the 110mm would fit the 80 to 160 class jetcats the 98mm is for the 70 jetcat and maybe the new 100 coming soon and the 90mm would be for the 60 jetcat this is all taken from the fod screens i have on my turbines now that look identical to these hope this helps
I wouldn't say so the Jetcat p-80SE is 4.4 inches which is about 111mm, although if you're crazy, you could take the 110mm, its a closer fit just make sure you have clearances for the screws behind the cowl before you tap em. As a precaution if your P-80 is going to be outside of your fuselage, sand the edges of the guard.
