the instruction manual for 1/16 racing buggy: 32008 - drive gear / univ.joint totally different and the part drawing.
* the number 32343 - (metal gear with shaft drive Grive) ("part of the rear gear box") fits the number 32008, and I'm not seeing how to use this piece in the current photo.
any tips?
Has anyone sourced another drive gear that is exactly the same size but made from high strenghth steel? This gear is made from soft metal and wears out in no time especially if one has carried out the power upgrade (2848/3900kv motor). The other gears in the diff seem to be ok though.
hello and i have used a castle 8000kv and dynamites 9200kv as well and have had no problem with premiture wear but i due use a good quialty lube like from aquacraft called grimracer speed grease as it sticks very well and lubes great and the only reason i strip diff grears is due to slipper being set to tight and landing from jumping with the power on hope this helps
These aren't "cheesy" pictures. They're the CADD pictures (much clearer and easier to see what you're actually buying). With these pictures I can actually count the teeth on the gears, etc. whereas with the others I couldn't.
Does anyone know if it comes with the little screw for the pinion? I had to grind mine off as it was totally glued in and i rounded the head trying to get it loose.
