FrSky DF 2.4Ghz Combo Pack for Futaba w/ Module & RX
FrSky DF 2.4Ghz Combo Pack for Futaba w/ Module & RX

FrSKY ACCST technology is proven, approved by many model associations, tested and reviewed as the leading Chinese 2.4Ghz R/C Technology. If you think DSM2 or FASST is the best, think again!

New FrSKY ACCST (Advanced Continuous Channel Shifting Technology) gives you secure radio communicatios in 2.4Ghz band. ACCST 2.4GHz system shifts 80 channels around hundred times per second in the 2.4GHz band. This means that the system is completely resistant to interference in that band.

The Two-way Radio System developed by FrSky provides an additional return link that would be used for monitoring the Rx’s voltage, temperature, location, speed and so on.

Features:
Advanced Continuous Channel Shifting Technology (ACCST is our advanced tecnology it shifts channel hundred times per second and there is no signal conflicts and interruptions) robust frequency agility.
Easy to bind and very fast link-up.
Excellent reboot time.
True Diversity with two antennas.
All channels can be programmed with Failsafe, quickly and easily.
Quick and extremely stable in performance.
Precise and smooth servo response.
Extended range (1.5km-2.5km).

Wanted to know will this plug in to a 12FG? The 12FG has a module, although based on the pic above, it doesn't seem like the frsky module is the same size.
Maarten  7 points - 4/24/2013

I bought this package a couple of months ago but I cannot get the reciever to bind with the transmitter. I am following the right instructions because the FrSky V8FR-II 2.4Ghz 8CH Receiver I bought along with it binds perfectly. Anyone any suggestions? Or should I email FrSky?
 Alan_L 55 points
There are 2 tiny switches on the back of the module. These are used when switching between using D series RX & V series RX. Read the manual & it'll explain it. If you don't have it reply & I'll dig my instructions out & tell you how.
 Alan_L 55 points
I just dug it out anyway. For D series RX, both switches set to OFF V series switch 1 OFF & switch 2 ON. Good luck.

Hello buy this combo and my question is for serving the telemetry?
Mats  1 points - 3/22/2013

Yes this module work´*s just fine with a 3PK. (mine does)..
Andrey  2 points - 3/22/2013

Wil this module work on Futaba 3pk? Anybody check it?
Rick  5 points - 3/13/2013

How does this work with a Futaba 3PM - they're not a module based system?
 Gary 2961 points
This can only be used with Futaba/Hitec transmitters that have the module in the back of the set.
 nlmbc 568 points
you would need to get the DIY kit and mount it inside the TX and set up the led bind buttons in an accessable place on the TX.
Szegedi  5 points - 3/13/2013

Is is suitable to a 50cc gas airplane ? (I mean the vibration, range, and the ignition system's electric noise)
 Gary 2961 points
Any good 2.4ghz system should be fine with gas engines.
 dgholmes59 1 points
I have been using it for 2 years on two 55cc gas planes. I have converted two Futaba 8UA FM radios to this system for glow, gas and electric without a glitch. This system is rock solid.
Fair Dinkum  5 points - 3/11/2013

Will this work with a very old Futaba Field Force 7 Super T7UPS?
 Alan_L 55 points
The module that came out of my 9C is a FP-TK-FM. If your T7ups has the same module then it will fit. Alternatively search to see if it's compatible with the above module. If it does, it will work.

Passt es in Die Aurora 9 ?

Which Futaba models can use this Module?? i will look for a Futaba radio to use my quadcopter/FPV But i have no idea which models have changable module system.
 Alan_L 55 points
Check Futaba website but I can confirm 9C & 8UAP radios work with this module.
 Alan_L 55 points
copy & paste from the specs above. V8FT: Futaba: 3PM, 3PK, 7U, 8U, 9C, 10C, 9Z, FN-Series, T10C, FC-18, FC-28. Hitec: Optic 6, Eclipse 7, Prism 7 WFLY: WFT09, WFT-08

Thankyou B adfreddy for your reply, what is a DJT ?
radley  9 points - 3/6/2013

Dose this unit fit the Turnigy 9X and 9XR.is it a plug in option?
 Badfreddy 33 points
no you need the the frsky DJT
 nlmbc 568 points
DJT is the type of moduel ( pins in a different location ) You need the JR version for your radio.
CopterCrew  21 points - 3/5/2013

could l please trouble anyone out there to let me know if this is compatible with Futaba T14SG with S bus2?
A  1 points - 2/27/2013

How many receivers can a DFT bind with? In other words, how many models can I fly with a single transmitter and DFT Module?
 Badfreddy 33 points
That depend on your Transmitter model memory . My TX has 30 model memory some have 7 model memory The receiver Bind to the module & the receiver remembers the module ID.I don't think there a limit
Graham  5 points - 2/23/2013

will this work with the fp series
fp8tsgap and fpt5 uap

please advise

hi can the receiver of FrSky DF 2.4Ghz Combo Pack for Futaba w/ Module & RX D8R-II PLUS be used on 3s cell high voltage (hv)?
 Alan_L 55 points
The operating voltage is 3.5 to 10v. A 3s pack would deliver upwards of 11v fully charged so no. You'll need to use a voltage regulator or BEC.
AndrĂ© - Brasil  15 points - 1/23/2013

only channel receiver D8R-II PLUS is for the transmitter module 8 channel DFT 1, or has another compatible??
 Alan_L 55 points
If I understand your question correctly, The TX module will work with all of the D & V prefix receivers listed under FRsky. It won't work with the T prefix RX or any other brand of RX.

Bonjour je vais acheter une futaba ff9 t9cp et je voudrais savoir si ce module et ce recepteur sont une solution pour cet emmeteur et si ils fonctionne avec merci
EZflight  29 points - 12/27/2012

Is it compatible with Turnigy 9XR Transmitter?
 Maarten 7 points
No it is not. Turnigy is not futaba, so it does not work. grtz Maarten
 EZflight 29 points
ok thanks.
 Marcos_ 118 points
I think its possible to use this module with Turnigy 9XR. The point is that this transmitter will bind with Futaba receivers also.

I purchase this Unit to put then in my Hitec Aurora 9 (doing some modification obviously) and it is working perfect, to get this install I did not even need to open the Aurora it was so simple that I could not believed. I been using the JR FrSky (normal w/o telemetry) on my Turnigy 9X also and is been reliable also. Very happy with this module. Highly recommended.

Everything seems to work perfectly in my Hitec Optic. Remounting the antenna making it point upwards was a simple task.

Rumours said that the beta version of FrSky couldn't handle cold weather (had problems at -1C/30,2F, but this one works fine in -19C/-2.2F

Works with both telemetry and non-telemetry receivers, but you will have to change some tiny fragile switches on the module each time. It's better to go all telemetry or non-telemetry.
