More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery. For those that love graphs, it means a straighter, longer curve. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!
Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!

* The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. 1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity. 2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly. Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries; -Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg. -Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load. -Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly. -Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC -Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load. -Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate. -Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries. -Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.
after only 50 cycles, I noticed a significant drop in performance with inflation and zero voltage of some cells.
sadly the situation, I decided to open the parcel to find a remedy, but I found a surprise (see photo) ..... it is possible that instead of a 5000 or a 4500???
if someone had my experience to know .... thanks!

Hi Anybody, changed or replaced a cell on this thing? Or at least, a place that can replace or repair it? I know 1 cell is bad(close to 1 volt difference), and the other two is good and balance. Please let me know. TY!
People post that the nanotech 6S 6000mah 25c fits perfect in theirs Trex 600E. You can read reviews in product page.
nanotech 6S 6000mah 25c -> 167x49x55 mm
nanotech 6S 5000mah 45c -> 157x49x50 mm
A 6 cell pack with such mah is way too much for a 450. It will nearly double its weight hence really stress the engine. I would recommend a 3S pack instead (nano techs 3S packs are awesome for a 450).
Hello, 5C marked on the battery means you can put a charge rate of up to five times the capacity of it. In your case, the battery has 5000mha capacity, means that the battery supports a load rate of up to 25A.
A 6s lipo with 5000mAh is werry hard to charge at 5C. Because you will need a werry strong power sorce. Even if it stands on the battery that you can charge it at 5 to 10C DONT! Charge MAX 2-3C. Youre lipo will last longer and the balanser works better. I never charge more then 2,5C.
A a 6000mAh (6Ah) batt to get you need to charge it at 30Amps! And on 22.5V at 30Amps is: 675W! So you need a charger like 700W and a powersource that can deleiver like 40A. You could use a large car battery that is made to sustain amps over time. (most car batts are made to just deleiver whole lota current a short time though).
5C charge rate means, you can charge the battery at 5 times the nominal capacity 5x6000=30000= 30Amps. This 30 Amps x 3.2V per cell x 6 cells = 576 watts is the the needed charger output. 576watt output / 85pcnt charger efficiency = 678 watt power source. Mighty power source!!
I have a nano-tech 5000mah 6s 25-50C Lipo pack that I use in my 70" Extra EXP from Extreme Flight. I get about 8 to 10 minute flights and the battery is barely warm when I come down. I charge that battery immediately with no issues so far after probably 30 to 50 cycles. I just received the 45-90C version today and I doubt it would be any hotter and I intend on doing the same thing with that one - charge it right away.
I have been running these batteries since they came out. Not one has had a bad cell and I charge them within 5-10 minutes of flying and have never had an issue. I have also never had one that was overyl warm. Unless they are burning your hands when they come out(which indicates another problem)don't worry about it too much.
RULE OF TOUB IS LET IT COOL DOWN FIRST AND CHARG IF ITS A LOWER RATE THAN NOT THAT BAD THE NANO CAN CHARG AT 5C THEY SAY BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT DOWN TO 3C, USE CAUTION BE CARFULL ,DONT WANT TO BLOW UP IN YOUR FACE RIGHT?
It takes about 15 to 20 min to cool. If you want to be good to your battery wait this time before charging. Lipo battries do not like heat so if I want to charge sooner I have placed my battery in cooler for few min to shorton wait time.
Very popular product... Almost always out of stock even when newly stocked. Order as backorder, wait about 30 days until your order get stock. wait for shipping to complete..... I ordered mine beginning of feb and they are currently shipping.... :)
Best power for high performance in helicopters with a high stable voltage, that's everytime impressive. Consequently it's my recommendation. Unfortunately the stock is mostly empty.
They were in stock a few days ago and I bought one. Should have bought 5. Almost on par with my new 65c tp battery and more than half the price. These batteries are simply amazing. Build another factory and build more! We want more!
I have two that i use as a pair in my 700E also split them for my 550E. They are awsome 5 minutes with agressive flying (not hard 3D though)(as i cannot)
Yes, I did! Fantastic :-) If you do not crazy 3D things, you can fly almost 12 minutes. But it is not a god idea to emty the LiPo, so 9 Minutes will be the best to have a god livetime :-)
T-Rex 700 Nitro with E-Kit, Skorpoin HK4035 630KV, Kontoik Jive 80 HV on 22.2V (2P-6S)
Yes i just got two of the nano tech 45c about a month ago. They have awsome power. I was using the turnigy 5000 25c which have about 10 flight on them there is not a huge differnce in power between the two. Not sure if it is worth the diifernce in price only time will tell.
I bought some for my habu 32. I have a 65c tp pack and these packs perform very close to the 65c pack for more than half the cost. Don't hesitate they are never in stock for a reason: They are awesome! Where else can you get a 45c discharge rating in a 6s 5000 pack for under $100.00? Nowhere.
I dont know your problem. Our first contact was your question:"whats this batt like?" I translated it and it means something like:"What is this battery made from?" So, I gave you the answer:"lithium and polymer!" I think your last post is very outrageous! I please you, to choose a more sophisticated conversation!
when somebody ask " whats this battery like" it means they are asking about performance, not about chemical composition, everybody understand this question except you! Everybody know its lithium polymer, what you think, we are all stupid, please try to understand and keep up with the conversation here., if i wanted to know what the battery is made from, i would ask " what is the chemical composition, you understand now ok!
I do not think you are all stupid. I only think, that you are full of testosterone! You don´t know what to do with your energy. Go to work! It makes you free! This is a product-discussion-board! Not your ego-board! In the future, write comments about products and not your ***r vision on other people! I hope, you are able to understand that, okay!
yes product discussion board, not your personel place to teach things we already know. dont try to be clever here, nobody is impressed go to do some work, make some money for this battery, you cant afford it.
For the 600 this battery is the right way to goooo!
