all of the modern ESCs from Turnigy are Brushless only. same with Hobbyking, Hextronik, Toro, Hobbywing, Flysky, etc. only Traxxas, Castle Creations and select few other, more expensive ESCs have a Brushed mode.
at 100% it will put as much power to the wheels as is possible as fast as possible. if your car/truck has a problem with traction and spins out as soon as you hit the throttle lower it a little at a time and test until you find a setting your comfortable with.
Sorry, but I don't think your answer is correct, as it seems to work the complete opposite way that you explain. Also when I looked at the instructions it explained it the same way as the question which I asked. Maybe that's why it is called punch control.
the term punch control has been in use long before RC speed controllers added this function. how i described it is exactly what it is. if a speed controller manufacturer decided to reverse 0 and 100% that's there problem. my advise is still relevant as well.
Setting reverse. I cannot seem to get much reverse. Tried all 3 setting, 2 give me no reverse at all and other one gives me so little it's virtually useless. Any ideas guys?
Got the same problem. Card does not support revers power programming. Program your ESC manually (check the manual how to do that). It worked perfecly for'me
You can do it all without it. Just use your transmitter? Hold full throttle accelerator at startup and keep holdings enter program mode. See manual for beeps explanation.
I have this card only works on my 150amp..all it does on my 1/10 scale 80 amp is light the first light on the card up..last time i buy from here can't get any help from company but they give you a best answer award yay

I have also this card, I have two trackstar 150 Amp. The loading for the first one is perfect, for the second one i also got only the first led on, unable to load, for me, this problem is in the ESC. Few days ago i received my Trachstar 80 Amp. The loading with the program card is working fine. Excusez mon Anglais aproximatif. Michel.
Does this card program the trackstar 60A, because the original 60A card is no longer available? This was the card the link suggesting to be the replacement suppersession.
i just got the turnigy trackstar wp pwr system 4250/80A and the esc doesnt power up the fan comes on but no lights or sounds the programing card is on backorder is it a bad esc or does it just need to be programed there arent any directions need help getting the esc to work ?
I have a turnigy trackstar 100amp, and would like to know how to increase reverse power, can't do it with program card (yes I have the right one), but ESC manual suggests it can. Any ideas?

If it's like my other Trackstar ESC's you can program the ESC from your transmitter and one of the options is reverse power. You can try to enter programming mode by holding full throttle on your transmitter and turning on the ESC. Keep holding full throttle til it enters programming mode. The first beep tells you which setting you are adjusting and after the pause which mode it is set to etc. Find the one for reverse and change from 25% power to what you need. See your ESC manual for all the options.
I have a ofna ultra lx2e. it is 1/8 scale and it is 4wd with a 120a trackstar esc running a 2100kv turnigy brushless sensorless motor. what should the timming be?
if u want to leave the most advanced timing to gain more speed, it has to take into account the temperature of the engine, check testing and not allow the engine temperature exceeds 80 degrees because it can not be a demagnetization of your engine
I bought recently a Turnigy TrackStar Waterproof 1/10 Brushless Power System 4250KV/80A for my car. So, can use this Turnigy TrackStar ESC Programing Card for my ESC 80A?

Works Great. Doesn't come with usb cable but if you've got a computer you should have a mini-usb to usb cable for something. Easy programing of the esc
