Dumb question alert: How do you actually use these? Do you use the plastic tabs behind the self tapping screws that come with it, or is there some other trick to it?
The little tab will fit into the screw hole of the servo from the bottom and the screw itself will fasten in from the mounting side. It will screw into the tab (self-tapping) which gives your holding strength.
Yes, it is same size for servos on a T-rex 250 :-)

these make life so much easier mounting servo's to the HK450, I managed with the small nuts and screws that came with the kit but this rout is much quicker and feels like it'll hold much better, these should be included in the kit!
i'll be ordering more.
it came in white color, but no problem of course, good to have some, do not tighten too much not to crack them,, check them from time to time incase you need to replace not to loosen your servos,,
